    Racheal had been helping me express myself since 2021! She always had me walking out the salon feeling confident in myself! She's never failed to help me express myself! Shes always communicating with me when bleaching my hair and always brings my vision to life! Racheal is now a dear friend of mine and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! Racheal is literally my Fairy Salon Godmother Please check out the salon! The lady's there's are so welcoming and the environment is just AMAZING!

    I hadn't been to a salon in over two years until I booked with Rachel--and I'm so glad I did! I was nervous about going to a salon because I was worried I wouldn't get the style I wanted but Rachel completely delivered. I asked for lots of layers, U-shaped bangs, and a 90s-inspired look--and she understood the assignment perfectly. She's incredibly talented, super sweet, and so easy to talk to. Her sense of style is amazing, and you can tell she truly puts her heart into every cut. I left feeling so confident and cared for. If you're hesitant like I was, let this be your sign to book with her now! Thank you, Rachel, for bringing my vision to life!

    My hair stylist was Rachael and it was the best haircut I've ever gotten. She knew exactly what I wanted without me even saying anything. She truly worked her magic and in the process of my haircut she gave such a welcoming vibe which I love, great conversations. Love her and love my hair cut, 10/10 will be back for my next cut.

    One of the nicest and most professional hair salons ive been to. Elizabeth is incredibly talented at what she does and always bleaches and tones my hair correctly, ive never seen results like this on my hair, it blows me away everytime. It feels so soft and nice afterwards with minimal damage. She has a wonderful personality and vibe, I always recommend Elizabeth as a stylist.

    If I could give more than a 5 star rating I would do it in a heartbeat. I have been seeing my stylist Michelle for the past three years and have followed her wherever she goes! It's always a great time getting my color done by Michelle, but Once Michelle moved to Salon Medusa, the experience got even better! From the moment you enter the salon you automatically feel like you're part of a family. Kellee, the manager, is so warm and welcoming. She does such an incredible job of making you feel taken care of and greeted with a smile! Even now during COVID I feel 100% safe, and the precaution that they take as soon as you enter the door eliminates any sort of worry or concern. Kellee is also amazing at scheduling and confirming appointments to maintain our safety during this time. It's incredibly reassuring to know that I am entering a facility that is clean, safe, and never crowded. The overall ambience of the salon is incredible, there is always great music playing, everyone is super friendly, and it's just an overall relaxing and enjoyable experience. I always look forward to my appointments here at Salon Medusa!

    EDIT Jan 16, 2020 Started off as a bad cut I could have forgotten months ago... and now here we are. See attached photos for original review. Curly girls won't find help at this salon I guess. A few weeks after I posted this review, Kelly, the manager reached out to me. She apologized profusely for the inconsiderate services I was rendered and took full responsibility for what had transpired at the salon. She offered me a "free cut/style and personally delivered basket full of products if I would just give the salon one more chance." I was extremely humbled by the offer and accepted, while letting her know the next time I have a paid photoshoot I will reach out. There was no time limit given for this offer. I called her about a week ago to redeem the offer and we set up an appointment. Unfortunately, she called me today to let me know that she spoke to the owner to tell her about the situation and after the owner reviewed my Yelp account decided that it was not worth it to follow through on their previous offer. I asked her if this meant the owner, Sylvia, was worried that I wouldn't update the review to be more positive? She said she had no idea, but wouldn't she want to clarify before reaching out to me? Furthermore, isn't the issue here about ensuring a satisfactory customer experience rather than simply protecting your online reputation? I sincerely--and maybe naively--was under the impression that they wanted to rectify the wrong that was done to me personally, not simply to raise their star rating. ESPECIALLY since their employed stylist at the time used racist language liberally (as stated in my below review). She went on to say the timeline was just too lengthy. I understand that, which is why I never contacted the salon for a refund when I posted the review. I explicitly detail that my cut was in April despite my review being posted in September--and they still reached out to me. Seems silly that now the timeline is the main issue. I asked if there was anything else we could do to rectify the situation. She said, "No. Were just not a good fit for you." Okay. I never asked to be given a free services or products. I was following up on an offer... why am I now being berated for doing so? On top of that when I asked for the owner's last name so I could follow up with her directly--mid-question Kelly hung up on me. I cannot emphasize enough that I didn't ask for anything. At this point, I just wanted to follow up on their offer. I now feel (so many months later) like the event is fresh all over again. Kelly went into my information in their system and arbitrarily reached out to me using contact information that I didn't even provide for this particular use. Then she started victim-blaming me by stating all the things I did wrong in this situation--but I never asked for anything, they offered and gave ZERO timeline for the offer's expiration. I have a few questions: 1. Wouldn't any kind of review of my account be made most logically BEFORE extending an offer? 2. Why is providing me proper customer service contingent on the state of my Yelp account when I was definitely mistreated in their establishment? 3. Why wouldn't the owner be notified before extending the offer? 4. Why extend an offer and provide yet ANOTHER negative experience I didn't ask for at the expense of my time AGAIN? I sincerely feel mistreated, & I really am sad about all of this. I wish they hadn't reached out to me at all to begin with. Original : I know the stylists have their own way of booking or dealing with affairs apart of the salon but I think it's wild they have a rebooking fee of over $30 if client has to reschedule last minute their appointments BUT when I get my appointment canceled TWICE by the stylist ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT , due to "family emergencies" that apparently always happen. I think it's wild that a stylist can waste a clients time and day considering the first time it was canceled I had planned to get my hair cut before my birthday trip and today it got canceled I had just told my boss no to coming in for a shift because of my scheduled appointment ... what do we clients get in return besides wasted time and lost money ? At least she returned my $20 deposit that has been kept since August but damn , homegirl really needs to take care of home before taking appointments , we have a life out here too.

Heather was able to read me well. The hair washing experience is pretty new to me ( i haven't had a cut in 2ish years) and it was so soothing. As she cut my hair she was explaining the steps being taken. Everyone else there also seemed super nice. They were laughing with each other and with their clients. I genuinely felt comfortable. My hair came out exactly how I asked. She just read me like a book. I got so many compliments from the other stylists and from my friends at work. I felt super confident with my cut.
