I'm not quite sure where to start with a review. I don't often offer them because most times service is adequate. The service in this salon is so far beyond adequate that there are no words available with which to describe it! The front desk/receptionist, L. is fabulous. I called for a last minute cut and cleanup (it had been years since my last visit to anyone with scissors) before going on a trip. I just politely asked if I could take an appointment and be put on a wait list for any opening that sprouted. Not a problem. I came running in the door about two minutes late for the sprouted appointment; not a problem. I got my mop of a doo turned into something so far beyond presentable, that my friends had to do a double take, but it was so subtly changed that they didn't know what I had done. The transformation was covert yet right in the open. The sign of a true Master (Mistress) of their craft. Over-all, the experience was so pleasant that I am planning on going back to see the ladies at least a few times a year just for maintenance, well that and to be pampered a bit by a gang of Lovely Ladies! There is not one person in that shop that I would not sit down and fall asleep in the chair with no worries of how the procedure would turn out.
Now, I embrace my natural aging color (kind of Gray Wolfy) and so I don't need to mask it with dye, so I cannot really say one way or another as to the quality of that process, but I can say that everyone working in the salon is absolutely, positively 100 percent professional. As for the receptionist being the most miserable person ever!? Damn Claire, I think you must have been looking in the mirror not at L.! L. is one of the lovliest, most heart centered people I have ever met. My suggestion is to pull the stick out of your ass. I bet you'll be much more comfortable and happier. You may even find it is cause to smile and enjoy life while you still have it; if you're dying now how much longer can you really have?
That's all, Lovely Ladies of Salon Jacque, thank you for your absolutely fabulous service and fantastic attitudes and for putting up with me while in your fine establishment. Claire, if you've not pulled the stick (and your head) out of your ass yet, go piss up a rope! If you have I applaud your attempt at being a better person. Smile and have a nice day!
