Called, made appointments for myself and my husband for 12:30pm. Got there on time, waited until 1pm, and then asked when we'd be seen. Told another 5 minutes. At 1:20pm, we were told told there was one hairdresser for both of us, so we'd be seen back to back. At that point we were out of time for two cuts, so decided to leave. read more

Lisa is an amazing Talented Hairdresser who communicate's with her client's about their like's and then gives an absolutely wonderful haircut at a fair price's. I had seen on Facebook that Police, Fire, and Military can get a Cut for $5 so I dropped by around 10:00 and they could fit me in at 10:30 I asked about the deal and showed my Retired Army and the answer was yes. Love these girls , would never go anywhere else ! The prices are reasonable and the staff is awesome ! They carry some really great unique hair products that are imported from the uk and Asia that I'm OBSESSEd with and being someone who dyes their hair red( the fastest fading color on the planet!) i do my fair share of damage but Lisa has kept my hair in amazing condition and actually listens when i say i want just a trim so it can grow :) unlike so many other sorties iv heard about people going in for a trim and coming out with a butch . I was visiting in the area and had recently had a bad haircut back home. Lisa was at the shop before it opened and invited us in. She did a great job fixing my bad cut. She was friendly and funny. She also gave recommendations of places my wife and I should visit in Brattleboro. If I lived anywhere close to here or visited again I would 100% go back. read more

A friend and I both had bad experiences with bikini waxes at Scissor Masters. The aesthetician (the owner, I believe) was incredibly rough and left a large amount of wax behind on our skin after she finished. I had pain and redness for days, and my friend actually had bruising as a result. Maybe the owner, our aesthetician, was in a rush that day. Also, the price for a bikini wax ($40) seemed steep. Been waxing for many years, but I know I'll look elsewhere for my next time. read more

I am not sure how this Salon has a 4.5 star rating. I was generous enough to try three different services at three different times. First, I had my eyebrows done, so unevenly that I went home & used my own wax pot (which I didn't want to in the first place), to fix my eyebrows. I then, went in to get my nails done. A gel layover on my natural nail. The photo's on their website are gorgeous (clearly done by someone not available at the salon). I left with gel all over my fingers, in tears with a crazy shaped nail on each finger. Third strike, I went in for a Brazilian wax. I have never left another salon with any residual hair (been waxing for six years now). I wasted $60 ONLY to go and have the wax touched up by another salon. Customers are not a priority here. I do not leave reviews, I never have the time. This place is so bad, it warrants one. I don't want other women to go through the emotional distress. read more

I had a horrible experience at this salon - I went to Scissor Masters to get eyelash extensions, thinking I was going to have lashes that were beautiful and fluttery when I left, however I ended up leaving the salon with NO eyelash extensions because I had the stylist take them off before I walked out onto the street. The extensions I was given did not look professionally done at all, they were extremely spidery and so gloopy looking from the excessive amounts of glue that were used, I honestly can't even believe the stylist (who rudely ignored me when I first walked into her salon and never introduced herself to me until I had to ask what her name was) thought her work was acceptable! In the end I was still charged $90 and I left her salon with absolutely nothing; Lesson learned, I will never be returning to this salon after the experience and service I received my first time there and I absolutely will not be recommending them to anyone for eyelash extensions. Their motto is that "you are sure to walk away feeling beautiful inside and out", well I DID NOT feel beautiful inside and out, I felt completely ripped off inside and out. read more
