She's been afraid to get it cut but she did want a little trim because of her upcoming prom. Unfortunately I got stuck at work and my husband had to take her. So I do blame myself but I told her to very specific with the stylist. I even had an appointment with the same person a couple weeks ago and talked about my daughter's fear of losing length. According to my daughter she agreed to the 2 inches of dead straight hair on the bottom but was very clear about not wanting to lose length all over. The woman took at least 3 or 4 inches off all over her head. Hair that came to her elbows now barely falls past her shoulders and what's worse is that it is uneven. The right side is very noticeably longer than the left side. If she didn't understand curly hair, she should have said something. Maybe she didn't like my daughter or thought she was wrong to express what she wanted and decided to teach her a lesson. Now she doesn't even want to go to the prom. We can't get the hair back and I have to pay somebody else to fix it. We will never go back again.

I am a dude, so my haircut is usually simple and quick. I don't make an appointment, I just walk in and ask if anyone has time to cut my hair. And they do! Sometimes I will get my eyebrows waxed - they do it all! I appreciate the personnel are always smiling and polite and after I get my haircut, everyone that knows me compliments what a good job the salon did on my hair. I don't have any pictures to post - at least for now - I mean the folks on the internet reading this don't need to see my haircut... but the salon is very professional looking: bright, clean, with a variety of stations, and plenty of products on display. She used her skills to turn my sad, neglected mane into fabulous and healthy hair. An Asian girl with blonde hair is no easy feat but she always pulls it off. If you're craving a color change, please go see her; from subtle to drastic and everywhere in between, she is an adept stylist with a master's knowledge of color, chemistry and end-result. Price -- It was $190 for the color, cut, wash and eyebrow wax and worth every penny. I'm honestly not the greatest judge though...You get what you pay for and I don't take any chances with my hair! I made the appointment not knowing what exactly to expect. Please know that my daughter in law has shown so much strength and grace throughout this fight. We shaved her head after her first treatment. She didn't loose her hair until her third treatment. It was traumatic. It was the first time she stated that she had cancer. We had her wig appointment today. She was nervous. She has dyed her hair for years. Most recently, it has been purple. Though they didn't have a purple wig, Lianne was so beyond kind and found a wig that complimented her style. To make her feel more like herself, she added some colored extensions. On our way home, she kept looking in the mirror. I thought it was so sweet. Then she told me that she hadn't been looking at herself in the mirror because she didn't like the stranger who stared back at her. This brought a tear to my eye. Thank you, for giving her a bit of herself back!!! She is such a beautiful soul and I am so happy to see her with a real smile, rather than a forced one.
