ABSOLUTE amateurs, VERY unprofessional! Somebody warned me…read morethat I should NOT let these people touch my hair, but as I needed a fast cut I tried to call them anyhow. No answer, I left a message and they never returned the call. I called the next day same thing got voicemail. This was a blessing in disguise for me because my neighbor told me a very concerning story about how this shop absolutely ruined her scalp, and caused her hair to fall out. That's (2) people in 2 days that told me AVOID this place!! I found another stylist that is very notorious for high quality work. I would strongly advise against hair and company!

I reserved the salon for my wedding last October for myself and my bridesmaids, mother, sister and…read moremother in-law. Only thing I'd say know exactly how many and what time but also expect to pay in two payments (not separate - it can get a little tricky to gather the ladies money but we made it work). Payment: Really understand the pricing, for us pricing changed from when we got the quote to when we booked. Chris was able to grant the initial quote cost for hair but makeup did increase slightly. The Vine asks for a certain percentage upfront for every person to reserve and the rest of the bill was due on the day (payment automatically added gratuity). It's important to reserve your date but also make sure you know the exact number of people at first payment as it will be much harder to add ladies later. Some ladies changed their mind last minute or didn't decide in time (luckily only one bridesmaid had to go elsewhere to get her hair done). Schedule: Chris scheduled time slots for each person to navigate when each person should arrive (which helped a lot since I had 11 people come in for hair and/or makeup) it would have been far more stressful (than it already was) if we didn't have a schedule. Accommodations: A separate room was provided for us to get ready and hangout at no addition cost and allowed us to have food and beverages. Additionally they allowed for ladies to do their own makeup (as long as the girls did it themselves). They cleaned up after our breakfast, which was icing on the cake when we were all leaving - again an accommodation that helped with the stress. Service: Each stylist (makeup and hair) were exceptional and made us feel absolutely welcome. They did a wonderful job on hair and makeup. When girls would ask for changes they went above and beyond to make it happen. I was also late because our breakfast order was delayed at pickup and the stylist did not waste time by starting on my bridesmaids. Salon: The salon and grounds were stunning in my photos!

Despite being a loyal customer for years, we have decided to seek hair care elsewhere after being…read moreinformed for the first time - ever - that "there is a 5 minute late policy" when my Husband pitched in to take my daughter to her appointment after I became violently sick. Her appointment was at 2 pm and my Husband arrived with her at 2:07 pm. They refused to see my young daughter through no fault of her own and without any advance notice of said policy. Had we known, I may have risked taking my daughter myself instead of requesting help from my Husband. I wanted to inform other customers in case they potentially run into an emergency that may make them "5 minutes late" as we were not extended that courtesy. We were simply and quite unfortunately turned away. Although, I do believe my Husband and daughter were discriminated against as I do not see this "policy" listed anywhere. If it is, in fact, a true policy, I would recommend the salon make their customers and potential customers aware in advance as the only heads up we have ever received was their policy on 12 hour cancellation.

I've been going to this salon for a couple of years now Jasmine is an absolute amazing masseuse…read more However my last experience on June 10th I had a gift card to pay for my services the receptionist accidentally instead charge the entire amount on my credit card because that was what I was using to pay Jasmine her tip. The owner Chris first off took over a week to respond back to my complaint about my credit card charges. Instead of him asking me what happened he listened to whatever his receptionist told him when I talk to her on the phone. Mind you this was not the person that I had engaged with on the 10th. Saying that I paid with a card and that I changed my mind to use the gift card which was a lie. Chris said he cannot refund me my card because of a new system that was installed. He proceeds to tell me to call my credit union and dispute the charges. I called my credit union and explained the situation. They said that it doesn't work like that. I reach back out to Chris and he has not responded back. I have yet to receive my refund till this day. I'm putting this review on all platform. No one should have to experience this his customer service skills is horrible. I'm also reporting this to the Better Business Bureau

She is incredibly funny and very, very talented with curly hair! She did a phenomenal job, understanding my hair and cutting it accordingly. I absolutely love my curls. She cut my hair in a way where they are popping out, but look really luscious. I used to go to Milwaukee for haircuts and now I am ecstatic that I have somebody as talented as Nicole very close by.

My mother went to Karen for decades, and I've met her a dozen or so times over the years. She's a class act, a hell of a hair dresser and a great person. She also employs an old classmate of mine, Natalie. So, when my hair-wrangler skipped town, I figured this was the most homey, familiar place to go. Nat does a great job of acclimating her skills to my unique needs (I generally have brightly colored mohawks or other dumb haircuts that keep her on her toes.) If Natalie's ever unavailable, Karen does solid punk hair work, as well! I recently had some surgery on my spine and was temporarily unable to reach my toes for regular hygienic upkeep. Karen's daughter, Kora came to my rescue with the much needed mani-pedi party, and one hell of a diverse and fascinating conversation throughout. Is there anything these ladies can't do?
