This is a review of a quote for a womens haircut: I requested the price of a womens haircut and was quoted $ 60. That is a bit of money for a simple haircut, so I am wondering what do I get for 60 dollars? The cashier could not really answer me right away and the cashier should be aware of the itemized list within a womens haircut to sell customers on. That was a very bad upsell from the cashier on a womens haircut. With any product or service most staff should be able to do a quick positive upsell to a potential customer. consider the ball dropped. read more

Don't waste your time...I called to book an appointment months in advance. I was told there was nothing available and the person answering the phone was very rude and dismissive. I mentioned the stylist I was wanting to schedule with recommended I call to book an appointment. All of a sudden I could book any time on the date I was looking for. The stylist was good except I had booked with a master stylist and she dried my hair with a BrushX (brush/blow dryer combo, advertised on Instagram) instead of using a blow dryer and brush. I have never been to a salon where a BrushX was used by an stylist let alone a master stylist. Needless to say my hair looked pretty bad after being dried where I had to go home and redo it. Might want to think twice before booking here. Plenty of other salons in the area to chose from. read more

So, my hair was done about March 8th, I know this is a month later but I've just now figured out what to say after a lot of back and forth with them. I went in for an all over red, I was informed the couldn't do it because of my natural hair color and that highlights would have to be done and I'd need to go in for two or three more appointments. Well I live far away, but I did everything they said to a T and within a week my hair was pink, orange and the color had left some places entirely. So I was pink, blonde and orange, my hair had been horribly over processed and she took me straight form a natural 2(a very dark near black color to nearly as blonde as my sister) I did ask for a refund just to repair the damage done to my hair, they said they'd only give me 50$ for a toner. My hair was hard to brush through frizzy and humiliating. They refused to give me anything more unless they talked to the salon that was fixing my hair. So they did, they were told by the manager, not just my stylist, that my hair was damaged and it wasn't just on the small section of hair that still had color. The damage was all over. They then told me the salon would tell me anything I wanted to hear so they could have a new customer and they didn't know the level of expertise these people had so they weren't giving me a refund of any more than 50$ Out of a 170$ bill and a 40$ tip. Then I learned recently they had the nerve to take down a professional stylists bad review of them saying the truth about my hair on their Facebook page so their rating would stay at an all 5 star rating. They were stingy, refusing to give back the money I needed for my hair, unprofessional and borderline childish. I hadn't even asked for a full refund and was going to pay for my own color. I just wanted enough for the damage repair. So I wouldn't recommend them at all. read more

I had such an incredible experience at this salon! Cassy was such a gem! I came up from Naperville for our engagement photos so I got my hair and makeup done. She did such a wonderful job and matched what I asked for perfectly. The makeup looked so great in different lightings. The salon is gorgeous and modern. I couldn't stop looking around I was so impressed with the decor. I will definitely be coming back for our wedding hair and makeup! read more

We were in Minocqua from out of state and my husband surprised me by scheduling a no-chip manicure for me, for Mother's Day -- it was so relaxing and enjoyable. This salon has a very nice ambience, I was offered a glass of wine, nice music was playing and their manicurist did an excellent job. Their prices are very reasonable. I have a wicked mop atop of my iron cold face it curls, winds, knots & tangles in every which way I knew something must be done, the dreaded "trim" I called it. Months passed till the gnarly mop grew so uneven I could barely brush it out, that's when Kiera(sorry if that spelled wrong) came in with shining silver blades, they eased they're way through the winding brown mass leaving lucius locks falling behind my elvish ears. I would wander the world till my death looking for this "trim" again, well done Salon Fiore we shall meet again. read more

Honestly the absolute worst service and rudest owner I have EVER dealt with. I hired the salon to do my wedding hair and had to call off the wedding. I called the wedding off within 30 days of my contract. Myself and my wedding party had already paid... the owner not only didn't give us ANY of the money back she was a horrible person about it!!!! She yelled at me and bullied me thru texts and over the phone. She was the meanest and rudest person I have ever dealt with. I cannot believe a business owner would talk to a customer the way she did. Though they do an okay job with hair, the utterly rude service is what will hurt them. I will never recommend any one to this salon. No person deserves to be treated like that. read more

First time visiting was for a fundraiser for Girls on the Run. Great atmosphere, clean. Enjoyed my cut and time there!

I'm trying to remember a time when I received as bad of customer treatment and as deplorable of a haircut as I did at Salon Fiore. First off, I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. I waited ten minutes...THEN WAITED ANOTHER 45 minuutes and watched the "stylist" (Em) diddle-daddle and chit-chat with the hag who they had slid into my slot slightly before I got there (she admitted it). I didn't walk out of this joint because I needed a haircut for a job interview and for my drivers' license picture. I even took a photo of myself when I had previously received a good cut as well as providing the "stylist" with a thorough description of what I wanted. She was recommended to me when I phoned to ask if they had anyone who was talented doing mens' professional type cuts, she was no more skilled than I am when I use electric clippers to hack off my dog's fur in the summer to keep him cool. But the truth is that she's a newbie and I suspect they were just trying to throw her some business. Thanks for letting her practice on me. The "stylist " so skilled in mens' haircuts gave me what ended up looking like a "bowl cut" similar to Moe of the Three Stooges. While the other hair cutter was sweeping up so they could close the place and go home, my hair cutter orbited my head with her buzz clipper to give me that Northwoods-Moron-look. I can't really quantify what was more of an insult: The inexcusable wait they made me do or the terrible haircut. Living in the Northwoods I have become conditioned to shabby treatment by the local merchants which is one of the reasons I wanted to look my best for a job interview so I can get the hell out of here. I realize that Northwoods merchants can't fall over themselves enough for the Chicago jerk-wads that infest the area. Now that the hair has started growing out again, even though the sides of my head look like I was sideswiped by hedge trimmer, the area on the back of my head above my neck was not neatened-up at all and now has grown into bushy globs of hair. This haircut is the worst I have got in a very long time. I don't know what the outcome of the interview will be. But if luck is on my side and I can get away from here I won't have to look at this stupid Wisconsin drivers' license photo for the next eight years which makes me look like an imbecile. read more

I had such a great experience having my bridal party's hair and makeup done by Salon Fiore! Ashlee was extremely professional, personable, and friendly - and she knows a ton about hair! After a hair and makeup trial at her (super cute) salon in downtown Minocqua, her team came on site for my wedding at a summer camp in Minocqua. They not only brought a whole range of professional hair and makeup supplies - they also brought the fun with music, bluetooth speakers, and such great energy. They immediately caught onto the vibe of our wedding and tailored their work to match our style. I have quite short hair and don't wear makeup day-to-day, so I was a little unsure of how much they could do with my hairstyle and a little nervous about not "looking myself" with makeup on. I should not have been afraid! The Salon Fiore team understood the look I was going for, asked helpful clarifying questions, and made me look like the best version of myself - even better than I could have pictured.
