I told everyone that this was *pretty much* my first time dying my hair and that I was both nervous and excited, but that my boyfriend was covering the cost as MY XMAS GIFT! I also purchased their color-safe kit that they had a special on to ensure I had the best shampoo, conditioner, and detangler to take care of my new color. That being said... I was thoroughly concerned after the first wash made my shower look like a MASSACRE had taken place! So much dye bled out and I could already see a drastic difference in the vibrancy. After the second wash, the color began to be PATCHY!! I called and asked if this should be worrisome and was told that Demi-permanent should last about 12 weeks and offered a touch up... UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME, I called the wrong location, and they needed to transfer me to the location that actually performed the service. After reexplaining my situation to THIS location, and telling them that the other location said they'd offer a "refresh", I was put on hold briefly.. then someone else picked up and told me that demipermanent only lasts a couple of weeks. 2-3 max. I told them that the other location, as well as online, says 12 weeks. She continued lying and telling me that she refreshes her color every 2-3 weeks, so I should expect to do the same! HOW DARE THEY BLATANTLY LIE LIKE THAT. Like I can't do a quick web search and read countless articles about how it should last "12-24 washes before washing completely out" Yet after two, it's already patchy?!? Well, I'm writing this review now after my third wash. Mind you, I'm seriously only washing my hair once every 7-10 days. After my third wash, my hair is extremely dull, extremely patchy, extremely not worth the almost $300 that cost. Side note: the ONLY reason I gave two stars instead of one is because how sweet the person was that actually did my hair. That genuine personality was enough to boost my review that much.

She took way too much off of my hair overall, she did not just do a trim, and then she did the above to my hair in the back. She went above my hairline. It not only looks ugly but is very painful. I have never had anyone cut above my hairline. This is not a nice look for me at 76 years of age, but worst of all it is painful where she went above my hairline. I went back and was refunded my money, and Bridget wanted to take off more hair in the back so as to make it "even". (Why she didn't make it "even" in the first place, when doing the back of my hair, makes no sense!) But I didn't want Bridget ever again touching my hair. Furthermore in order to make the back "even" she would need to go above my back's hairline in yet additional areas, thereby increasing the areas of irritation and pain to my skin. I have no idea why Bridget did to the back of my hair what she did. I have no idea why she went above my hairline. The pain, irritation, burning, sensitivity will inevitably go away. The missing hair will inevitably grow back in. But the wrong that Bridget intentionally and/or negligently did -and that Bridget not only did something that is ugly but that is very painful- won't go away. I do NOT recommend this business, and especially I do NOT recommend Bridget.

She said she didn't do braids, but I asked if she knew of anyone who did, and she referred me to Cammie Harrelson, a fellow Licensed Cosmetologist, even in the same building as her! We texted back and forth and set up an appointment. When I arrived she was just an absolute delight to work with. She washed, dried and styled my hair and then put the braid in. She was very efficient and the time was over before I knew it! I will definitely call on her again if I need something special done with my hair or my regular stylist is not available. After too much heat on my blonde foils and a wshe came over to me to let me know a lot of my hair is very damaged and breaking off and then demanded to know what I was truly using at home on my hair. I was pretty taken aback by her lack of social skills and problem solving. The owner was nice and eventually came over to me to give me a free hair cut. He said all I needed to fix my terrible hair color was a toner that they could do next time for me. I left and got multiple other quotes and feedback from other stylists and they both said I needed an actual color correction it was so bad not just a "toner". I ended up losing a lot of my front hair pieces they were so brittle and damaged. I'm now having to pay over 500 dollars to get my hair fixed somewhere else!
