It was fun for me to listen to conversations around, and also be included in them, while not being a regular. I also feel like Tayla really means what she says - I didn't feel pressure to book an appointment, I commented on how my last hair cut was all uneven and I was cutting off like three inch chunks when I left and I know I don't go often but I still want a solid cut when I do and I felt like she meant it when she validated my opinion. The location is convenient for me, it was easy to book, and I have long hair that I actually like right now. I look forward to going back and may try and make it happen sooner than six months.

Tiffany's is a magnificent salon and spa located in a quiet section of Barrington, RI. Everything…read moreabout Tiffany's exudes a dedication to the customer and the experience offered to each. All staff greet you with a smile and seemingly go out of their way to make each and every service a special and personalized one. Anything, no matter how quick, involved, or expensive is treated with a professionalism and excellence I imagine would be difficult to match or exceed at other locations. I experienced a full package day here. . . 1.5 hour Massage, Ultimate Facial 1.5 hours, Manicure, Spa Pedicure, Shampoo & Blowdry, as well as Makeup Application. The icing on the cake? All free :) My mother and I won a spa package back on Mother's Day of last year through a radio station. Finally. . . we got around to using it. The prices listed in their brochure seem up to par (and something I will definitely be paying in the future as I will certainly be returning to indulge.) This being the first time I experienced any of these services (excluding the hair and makeup portions of the day) each staff member was quick to explain everything that would occur. It made me much more comfortable knowing what to expect. The spa services are located upstairs from the salon itself, away from the noise and excitement that comes with a new hairstyle. Each room, dimly lit and filled with the sounds of soothing music and crashing waves, made for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable environment. My favorite services by far were the Ultimate Facial and the Spa Pedicure. While the "extraction" portion of the facial is not something I'd soon look forward to again, the end result was something I'd pay for in a second. My face looked and felt so refreshed by the end, I couldn't believe it was my own! The Spa Pedicure was equally as relaxing. . . and who doesn't like a foot rub? With our scheduled time at the spa being 9am-4:30pm (holy crap!), we were able to order lunch from a catering service and were served plates of food during the pedicure. Yum :) Two staff members in particular made our day special, Amy and Sofia. They were with us a majority of the day, were very easy to get along with, and were as excited as we were about having a whole day at the spa. Seek them out for hair and nails!. . . and facials! (I think).

Be VERY careful when coming to this salon for hair extensions. I was so over the moon with joy when…read moreI was told that they last 1 year and that they're not that hard to take care of. The owner told me otherwise to cover up tracks when I brought my concerns to her. I was also told about the regular adjustments after the fact. Still no big deal, IF they actually lasted. I'd gladly pay extra to keep feeling confident and looking pretty. I have had short hair for a decade so this was actually something I was incredibly excited about. I almost cried when they were first installed. The verbal promises sounded too good to be true and I should've listened to my gut. Instead, I went ahead and spent $1215 on the whole process of color, hair extensions and application. This is where things went sour..... Within one week, pieces were already poking out and detached. I had to return to get them fixed not even a whole week later. The stylist sewed them on more to further reinforce them (?). I wasn't super concerned seeing as how I get that things happen. I moved on my merry way, tipped $50 just for the help and things were good. Not even a week later, things were even WORSE. Tracks were sagging left and right and my stylist wasn't available until the following week. So I was stuck hiding out at home until they got taken care of. I have a literal loop of track hanging on the back of my head making the length so uneven it's embarrassing. This was after only 6 days of getting them "fixed." My income is directly tied to my appearance so this was a huge hit on my sales. I haven't even been able to work because my hair is a hot mess. It's uneven, you can see edges poking out everywhere and it's worse than a bad wig. I contacted the owner who acted like it's no big deal cause I can get a refund on installment (not even half the cost I paid) and my stylist went from "oh we can give it one more shot. I have some tricks I can try. " to "I'm just going to remove them. But you can keep the hair." I asked again if there are any other methods or techniques and was pretty much given a big fat "no." After a second discussion with the owner, I'm told that the hairdresser never said that even though I have text evidence that she said she was will remove them since she can't guarantee they will last." Oh and she said they're "non refundable." Another lie. She never told me anything was "non refundable." She even had the nerve to say that maybe hair extensions aren't for me. The salon owner keeps saying how I can reuse the hair and should be okay with getting an installment fee back. But I did not pay for custom dyed extensions for them to sit in a drawer. Returning to get them fixed even every 3 weeks would've been fine with me IF they were properly installed. It's not even the money that I am concerned about. It's the principle and white lies or failure to provide proper information. I even followed proper care to a T. When your extensions are so bad you have to wear a hat or hood because you're too embarrassed to be seen in public, there is a BIG problem. I've had to avoid both working (in turn losing ALOT of money) and family/friendly events. Now I lost even more money off this process from faulty services. You not being able to get a refund for hair is not my problem. I paid in good faith assuming that I would get extensions that lasted. Not completely detached and hang off of my head two weeks in. They will lie, sugar coat and take your money saying how it's "unfortunate" that the extensions didn't work out. They'll say one thing to each other (apparently) and tell you totally different. The owner says "she'll fix them as many times as she can." Yet I was told that she'll just remove them cause she can't guarantee they'll last. I am pretty sure that is something you tell you customer BEFORE you take their money. I offered to even provide screenshots as proof that my stylist told me otherwise and the owner said that's not the case. That I must be "misunderstanding." I literally have proof. ‍ They offered to return the "installation fee" but the installation fee isn't even half of what I paid in hopes of having nice hair and a confidence boost. This faulty job cost me a lot of money and all they can keep saying is that I get to keep the hair as it that is supposed to make anything any better. I have been having issues since the first week. It shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to cover costs simply because they received a botched service. A reputable business would try to make things right. Not just take sides and repeat the same thing over and over. I refuse to let anybody push me around when I did not get what I paid for. Being a business owner myself, customer satisfaction IS important. You don't just tell them "tough luck." Buyer beware

She did a nice job on my hair but it's honestly not worth her expensive prices. $200 for cut and balayage I was better off going to a reputable salon in Providence. When she was done styling me, I stood up and the entire back of my shirt was bleached. She took zero responsibility and put the blame on me, extremely unprofessional. Didn't bother to offer me a discount even after I bought $100 worth of products to invest in my hair. To top it all off, immediately after I left she posted on her Instagram story about a sale the next day and all products would be 50% off. Thanks for the details considering we talked about how I work in the building and definitely would of popped in to save on some product and even grabbed extras. Definitely missed out on regular clientele in the building including myself because I will not be back.
