I called the salon directly Wednesday 2/12 at 2:22pm while they were open. It rang a bunch of times, then went to voicemail. I left a message with the above information and asked for a call back. It is a full 48 hours later, and I have yet to get any call back from the salon. For a seemingly high-scale salon that charges $$$$, their customer service / reception is inexistent. No, thank you!

I arrived with a photo of the color I wanted and showed it to her, and stressed the importance of making it look natural. When she only glanced at the photo and then immediately darted into the back to mix the dye, I thought, "Wow, she must be really good if she needs to look at the picture for only 5 seconds before she knows the exact dye combination that will produce the desired results!" Imagine my surprise when my color came out "truckstop-hooker-meets-Run-Lola-Run" instead of "dark auburn." For $125, I expected more. Additionally -- and unfortunately, I didn't realize this until the next day when I noticed a cascade of color WASHING OUT OF MY HAIR, down the shower drain -- they use the type of dye (L'Oreal) that you can buy at Wal-Mart. Typically, when a hairdresser meets a new client, they spend some time talking about what the client wants. Not so here. It was quick, poor quality, and extremely expensive. I could have gotten the same results for $7.99 in my bathroom.

I left with my hair nothing like the photo I showed her. When I messaged her and asked her if I could come in the next day to add more light color she said she was out 2 weeks. I was shocked sh wouldnt work me in. Then I asked for a refund and she said she didnt give refunds. The hair was so bad and some color was literally an inch from my scalp. What was worse than the bad color job itself was the horrible response and rude customer service I received. My reviews are always positive and this is my first bad review. I just felt so swindled I thought I needed to share. Super disappointed with my experience.

Second, the woman who was working there yesterday is rude to the point of open hostility towards disabled people. She didn't hide her utter disdain and apathy for my mobility problems, and she refused me service on the basis that, when washing my hair at the only angle I'm able to manage to hold my neck at over the wash basin, a bit of water might have run down my neck and dripped onto the floor. The irony of her being horrified by the possibility of needing to mop up a tiny puddle of soapy water afterwards, is that her filthy floor was desperately in need of a good wet mopping anyway. More the point, other salons (such as Vis A Vis) have adjustable wash bowls and chairs so that they can be angled to the need of the customer. That's because the American Disability Act means something to them, and they have a culture of inclusion and accessibility. In contrast, Perfect Cut treats disabled people like dogs to be shooed away with contempt and disgust.
