And that's exactly what I got. My last haircut experience was horrible, so I was a little nervous. But my hairstylist Rosie immediately made me feel comfortable. She took the time to talk with me, asked what I had in mind, and even asked for inspiration photos (which I definitely did not have ready ). I knew I wanted long layers and bangs, and she absolutely killed it. I can't remember the last time a haircut made me feel this confident--it felt amazing. After my haircut, I had my eyebrows waxed by Lorraine, and wow. I was done in literally 2 minutes, and my eyebrows looked stunning. This is officially my new go-to eyebrow place. I recently had a head spa service with Alma and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations, especially for the $132 price point, even at a discounted rate. Alma herself was kind and pleasant, however there were several issues throughout the service. I asked twice for more pressure during the massage and the pressure never really changed. I also mentioned that the headrest was uncomfortable because my head was tilted to the left the entire time, and only then was I told that the headrest was broken because someone had sat on it. I feel this should have been disclosed before starting the service. The massage itself felt inconsistent, with contact constantly being broken, which made it difficult to fully relax. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room along with a loud draining noise that repeatedly interrupted the experience. Overall, the service felt lacking in quality and comfort, and I personally did not feel it was worth the cost. read more

I paid $380 for a copper hair color service after providing specific reference photos and discussing the desired tone in detail. I was assured the requested color could be achieved. Yes, my hair was previously dark, which was discussed during the consultation. However, the final result was substantially different from what was agreed upon. Instead of a rich, vibrant copper, the color produced was brassy, uneven, and dull and did not resemble the reference photos provided prior to the service. In addition, my hair was left damaged, becoming noticeably dry, brittle, and rough in texture compared to its condition before the appointment. Prior to this service, my hair was in good condition. The damage occurred after the chemical process performed at the salon, which is clearly shown in my before and after photos. I contacted the salon to request a correction or refund. I was offered the option to return for additional processing, but given the current condition of my hair, further chemical services did not feel like a safe or reasonable solution. I was not offered a refund. This issue goes beyond personal preference. The service did not meet the agreed-upon result and caused damage. Lorraine helped me today after my work shift (excuse my messy makeup), even though I came last minute for a 10 min prior booking (I feel bad I should've booked way before, I apologize!) she helped me friendly, professionally and accordingly! The service is very clean and fast atmosphere is very calm and soothing with relaxing music :) waiting room is lovely, there's a beautiful mini chandelier and wonderful products to buy. I went in to get a perm 5/13/23 and I wanted curls and the stylist Ruby Mello said she has 40 plus years of experience said she could give me this perm. So after she is done with my hair there are no curls at all she just fried my hair. I went back on Tues 5/16/23 And showed the owner Lorlie Labajo Ty the damage Ruby did to my hair and she said as long as Ruby put product (perm solution) on my hair it was done correct and she REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY $125.00 I PAID FOR THE PERM DAMAGE RUBY DID TO MY HAIR. I made an appointment for a haircut and keratin treatment this morning and asked for pricing before heading over to make sure it was within my budget. I arrived on time, the owner seemed so confused about my appointment then she looked around and told me someone was going to take care of me. A few minutes later a hairdresser, called Savy, arrived. I told them that I only had 2 hours. The owner and Savy agreed it was doable. I appreciated that but it only meant I was not going to be treated respectfully. Savy seemed so upset, she wouldn't even talk or engage in any kind of conversation. The only words that would come out of her mouth were "look up/down" and the like never a "please". I wish it would allow me to give zero stars but it won't. My experience at the salon was a complete nightmare! I started off by making an appointment and when I showed up I had a picture of exactly what I wanted done to my hair it was a platinum blonde with streaks , let me just point out that this has been done to my hair many times, but my stylist is out on maternity leave. The stylist said that it could be done and started on my hair, when we were finished my hair was completely orange and brassy with the bottom being a lot more blonde, I expressed to ​ that it was orange and I was not satisfied with the outcome , she told me to sit back down and all she did was put toner on it again , I was a bit confused as to why she wanted to tone it again considering that right when she was done with my hair she said she did not leave the bleach on long enough and that's why it turned out Orange. The Stylist Express that she did not want to put bleach on my hair again and proceeded to charge me $314! I thought that the price was ridiculous considering that she didn't even touch up any of the streaks underneath all she touched was the top and and then added toner to the rest of my hair, I will say that I agreed to her not doing underneath because she stated that it would look better that way but at the same time why would you charge so much when all you did was a partial on my hair? ​ I left the salon and proceeded to make an appointment somewhere else I felt that I had given the salon a chance to rectify it the second time I sat down in the chair and they toned it , I called the salon the next day and asked if they would refund just the cost of getting my hair fixed not an entire refund! I didn't even ask for any of the gas that it cost me to drive to fix my hair, the owner refused and said they would give back $50! I normally don't like to leave bad reviews and hurt someone's business but in this case I feel that this situation was handled completely unprofessionally and I don't want this happening to anyone else . I have pictures of before when this Salon messed up my hair and it was completely orange and after pictures of when I went somewhere else and got it fixed . Also I wanted to point out that the stylist who did my hair's name was ruby, she told me she had 40 years of experience doing hair so I was confident that she would do a good job, I guess I was wrong ! Not a place that would help you on getting your hair done properly with natural curly hair nor insecurity. I came in very early to this place to get a haircut, hair dye and eyebrows cleaned. And all came out to be less than average of a job done. This lady (with orange/yellow curly hair) asked her employees for what toner to use to dye my hair. After the hair color and hair cut, the lady doesn't know how to style curly hair at all. Even though she had curly hair herself, she wasn't capable of styling my REAL NATURAL CURLS. I came in with virgin curly hair and out with horrible experience. My eyebrows were done poorly. It was an asian lady (with dark hair with few brown highlights) did my eyebrows and she seemed in a hurry to get my eyebrows waxed eventually doing a horrible job on my eyebrows. It was only 12pm and she was in a hurry for what? To go outside and look at her phone?(which she did do) Not only did I pay a lot for a bad job done, I get bullied by the lady doing my hair. Please to the curly hair ladies out there get someone that knows how to handle your hair. Get a professional, not a rude woman that makes fun of my hair while in process of dying it. Also, that is capable of styling and fixing whatever insecurities you have on your hair. The amount you will pay here is an amount worth somewhere else, not here. I paid here more than a real professional that knows about curly hair and knows what they are doing in the Bay Area. This place "Salon De Bellezza" is a mistake of mine, learn from my mistake.
