I went in and was welcoming. Conversation was good, but I kept having to ask him to cut it shorter…read moreand shorter. After about 15 or 20 minutes, he told me I either had to leave the store or get charged for a second haircut, because, "You've had a haircut already." At the end, he was extremely unprofessional and rude, and made me feel very unwelcome. Also, my hair was pretty long, and he didn't even touch the top of my hair, except the very front by my forehead. Now I have to go get a second haircut, because the barber got impatient at 3:15 pm, with literally no one else in the store. I will not be returning to this barber, and would not recommend it to anyone else.

I have been going to Attilio's for probably 15 years now and would not trust my (perfectly coiffed)…read morehair to anyone else. This is what a barber shop is all about. There is no fluff and they give you a perfect haircut every time. Attilio, the owner of the shop, is a friendly, older Italian gentleman (with the accent to match), who has a steady hand and a time-perfected way of cutting hair. It's not like going to supercuts, where they use clippers (or a flowbie?) on your entire head or Lady Jane's where somehow sexy legs equate to a quality cut. Of course it's also not like going to a spa with a soak and scrub (perhaps a neck massage to cap it off). This is a gentleman's haircut: simple yet done to perfection (without a hint of irony). Everything is done with scissors and straight razors...the way it should be. To cap off the cut, he uses a straight razor and warm shaving cream to fade the hair on the back of your head. It is quite therapeutic. Add to this the quality conversation that always arises every time I go and you get the ideal haircut. While you're there ask Attilio about where to find imported Italian items (especially food items), and he will send you to the forgotten corners of Western New York and Canada. Now keep in mind Attilio is not the guy to go to if your looking for an avant garde style or coloring. This is a gentleman's barbershop that gives a gentleman's haircut, the kind of haircut that only comes by sticking to and mastering the traditional ways.

Im a barber from out of state and I was looking for a good shop near my families house. My first…read moreimpression of this place was great. The set and design of the shop was really nice and stylish. The chairs were comfortable and high quality. My barbers name was Patrick. He was super friendly and held a great conversation with me. He was very knowledgable about hair styles and how to cut them. He gave me the exact haircut I was looking for and took great care in making it look good. I would absolutely go back to Patrick next time Im in town and away from my own barber shop and I recommend him for your next haircut as well.

Went here for the first time today and will not be going back. The barber I had was definitely not…read moreworth what was charged. Simple haircut but he said he couldn't do the hot towel shave because he didn't have any towels prepared. He didn't talk during the whole haircut, which was fine, but he almost seemed slightly annoyed that I was interrupting his time by being there. After he finished I asked him how much and he said $30. I showed him my credit card (I didn't have cash) and he said he would have to charge me the credit card service fee. I said that is fine and he charged me $39. $9 for a CC service fee? I said thanks and goodbye and he didn't respond, just turned around and didn't say anything. No receipt and no goodbye or anything. I felt like I was being an inconvenience to his time and then being overcharged $9 for a service fee. The haircut and experience was absolutely NOT worth $39, nor the feeling that I was a burden to him. I will definitely not be going back. It really seems like the other barbers were smiling, interactive, and happy to be there. Maybe I just got the guy who was having a bad day. Either way, I won't be back.
