The cashier then loudly and sarcastically told me to "check my funds," which was completely inappropriate. Other employees laughed, which made the situation even more embarrassing. I spoke with the manager, Asia, and she showed no concern and walked away without addressing the issue. Because of how I was treated, I returned everything. After leaving, I checked my bank account and found I was charged twice--confirming the issue was the machine, not my card. As a healthcare professional, I value professionalism and respect. This experience was unacceptable, embarrassing, and disappointing--especially given I was shopping to give back to the community. I hope this location takes accountability and improves both customer service and management response.
