I called ahead of time and was told that they charge $15 starting off for a KIDS haircut. Ok, that's fine. My daughter requested side layers and the stylist was done in about 5 mins. No wash, nothing. They wanted to charge me $40!!! That's ridiculous!! For a child with thin hair and no wash or blowout? Are you kidding me? I got the price down to $30 and tipped 5. Never going back. You were warned!!

When I moved to Ridley park I wanted to find a trusted and reputable salon and I was told by a good friend to go to Lux & Roses. I have been tremendously impressed with my salon so much so, I've brought my sister in law and daughter both here and we have all had such great experiences and results. I showed her a couple pictures and she said it would be no problem with my curly hair. Tara cut off a good amount of hair and then to my surprise she straightened it. I never ever straighten my hair. It's a very nice cut and she styled it beautifully. I told her I would never straighten my hair myself and she said it would be just as nice curly (and much easier). She was right. I washed my hair and styled it curly and I love it! I would definitely recommend this salon, and Tara. My whole experience was wonderful and I will definitely be back! Thanks Tara!
