I booked in for a t-zone of highlights and cut, but on the day changed my as my hair didn't need a cut and just got the highlights. They were fine. When it came to paying however, I was charged for the t-zone of highlights as expected as well as a blow dry!!! I did not ask for a blow dry! At all! I was told I couldn't leave with wet hair and should have my hair dryed to see how the colour had come out. I thought the stylist was just doing a bog standard rough dry, but when I got to the till I was told it was a blow dry! Utter cheek. I had not choice but to pay £57 in stead of £30!!! Make sure you double triple check the price before you let them loose on your hair. You can't exactly take a blow dry back.

Visited this salon in June 2014 for a crystal clear microdermabrasion treatment. Despite booking an…read moreappointment and turning up 10 minutes early as requested to fill out a new client form, I was made to wait for 40 minutes with no explanation or offer of a drink. The treatment itself, which is meant to last 45 minutes according to the crystal clear website, lasted all of 20. I have been having these facials for 4 years now and can safely say that this salon scrimps on product to save money. The mask which is a vital part of the treatment was not applied, with some heavy moisturiser applied instead. I left the salon with red raw, sore skin covered in crystals and had to do a cleanse at home and apply a mask to soothe my skin! The therapist (the owner herself!) spend more time insulting my skin, saying that it was very congested and pushing other deep cleanse treatments on me, than concentrating on the facial she was doing. What is most shocking perhaps is when you use the 'find a salon' tool on the Crystal Clear website, Lynda V Price salon does not come up. Makes me wonder if they are actually trained to do the treatment and explains why Crystal Clear products were not used during!

My sister called them and she fitted me in after my sister for a cut and blow dry. All the staff were very friendly and easy going and my hair looked great after Gemma had cut it, We decided that she would re style it and she put some lairs in and straightened it for me. I was very happy with the outcome and would recommend this hairdresser to anyone. The cost of this was £19-50 which I thought was a very good price for what she had done.
