What I received is not what I asked for at all and there are spots where it looks like the bleach and dye just didn't take and in my opinion looks badly done. I made sure to let the stylist Joe know that I was looking for a balayage/ombré and how I've had bad experiences with other salons when trying to get balayage/ombré done. I am again in a situation where I am unsatisfied and spent a lot of money for what I did not ask for. I also previously had green hair and I knew that the color would be difficult to get rid of and/or cover, but I was told to "ignore it and pretend it's not there" which I find completely unprofessional to tell your client. I initially was going to give this salon a 3/4 rating but once I went home and actually looked at my hair I was heart broken.

I've done the fake lash extensions for years now and they just don't do it for me anymore. I also don't want to look like Mr. Snuffleupagus when I'm trying to look cute. If I do get falsies I'm lucky if they last a week. I've also done magnetic lashes too but those don't stay on well resulting in the corners being undone. I wanted my lashes to look as natural as possible with some curl to it. My lashes naturally lie flat and even with mascara, they don't appear to stand out. Lash perms can give your own lashes the extra curl needed. Most of all the perms last for at least a month! Odette was sweet, calm and patient with me given this was my first time doing this. She explained the process and checked in with me often since the perm solution they put on can cause mild stinging. I felt that but it didn't cause serious discomfort. In the days ahead, my eyes did crust up but what I was left with were a beautiful set of lashes that were of my own, just a bit enhanced to give you that va-va-va voom oomph to your look. If paired with eyelash primer and a coat of mascara, they stand out guaranteeing you won't get that Snuffleupagus aesthetic. I would definitely recommend lash perms for a special occasion/vacation. My session lasted an hour allowing for relaxation. In fact, I took a 20-minute nap while on the table! Parking is a breeze with Posh Beauty situated in a large strip mall with adequate free parking. It doesn't grow fast, so when I get a cut...it's gonna last more than a few months! I also have very fine hair and not a lot of it (thanks to my three kids) so going to the salon has not been a favorite thing to lately. I was referred to Evelia. I really really like her. She gave an awesome cut and a great foil highlights. The establishment is not top of the line by any means...but it is very clean and they do the best they can with the space. They offer you coffee or tea when coming in, and have a water jug thingy for water while you wait. They also have a nice candy assortment in a bowl to munch on while you wait. Evelia also does great eyebrown and stash waxing. They use all the "extras" to make the experience as painless as possible. It's the first place I don't come out flaming red with, after a wax. My three daughters now go here. My one daughter who has curly hair will only have her touch her hair from now on, because she has done such a good job cutting and shaping it. It's the first time in her LIFE, she actually had a style with her "curly" hair. One of my daughters has also been seen by Tina (who is co owner with Evelia) and she did a really nice cut on my one daughter too. On the weekends they have other people come like a girl named Kim who seemed really good too. Velintinas also has an older italian barber that does all the men's hair. His chair is always swamped too! Over all, great place. I will definetly follow Evelia, because she is great! My mom goes there now, and really likes her. She is very down to earth, holds a good conversation, and very pleasent to be with.
