I'm fairly new to area and was hesitant to find a new salon and stylist. After reading the positive reviews about Sharon, I chose her for a haircut and color. My hair is thinning and was dry from color. She offered a consultation before booking my appointment to discuss options and allow for questions. She was also very thorough regarding costs. I was happy with her recommendations and with my cut and color. I also felt prices were fair. Thanks Sharon! The salon is larger and offers nail services and more so that was a plus. read more

I had a bad haircut. It was a bit uneven--a person could have mistaken it for a kiddy coaster haa! Anyway, I came to Salon 29 after comments I read on NextDoor about Shannon, and I cannot say I am disappointed! She is amazing. She fixed my hair, she was super sweet! I'm so in love with my hair. If you're looking for an artist who takes her time with you and really cares about her clients, look no further. I've just met Shannon, but I could tell right away that she was genuine. Salon 29 offers a variety of services and an inviting environment. So my complaint is definitely not the salon but hair stylist Lena this is for you and you alone. The appointment I made was for my daughter not me. She wanted to go back to her natural hair color after her hair being light brown with highlights. So that's what was asked for..Lena suggested semi-permanent, I said we don't want it to wash off or fade out. Shouldn't we go with permanent. She says"It won't this is to make sure we leave her open to changing her hair color again if she changes her mind. I always warranty my work so if it does fade come back in and I'll take care of it. I ALWAYS STAND BY MY WORK".So sure enough the color faded I called her up went in and she gave me a million reasons why the color faded and said it'll be $100 to re-dye.SO MUCH FOR YOUR WORD. THANKS LENA SEE YOU NEVER. You gave a beautiful salon a bad name!!! read more

Been looking for a hairdresser for a few months. Set an appointment with Sharon who did a wonderful job on my hair. She was very friendly and knowledgeable on matching my existing color. My cut was perfect textured. I love the way my hair framed around my face. Also had my eyebrows done, The girl who did them did an excellent job! ~*Monique*~ is an amazing hair stylist and I love what she has done with my hair. I'm Hispanic and I'm not a big fan of my black hair. I do light brown undertones with blonde highlights and she perfects and pays such wonderful attention to detail which I truly appreciate. My last hairstylist juggled two clients at the same time and I hated it because it took her longer to do my hair and I would have to wait in between and I honestly don't think she perfected as much blonde as I like because she was juggling 2 people, I decided to give salon 29 a try and I am so glad the front desk lady scheduled me with Monique, she adds more foils giving me more blonde and charges less compared to what my other hair stylist charged, and I don't have to wait in between clients, she gives my hair full attention and does a beautiful job, not to mention she is so sweet and easy-going, I felt very comfortable with her from the moment I sat down with her. Also, I love how beautifully decorated the salon is and very clean! Monique has been doing hair for a long time, I am glad I found someone I can trust who will color my hair exactly the way I love it!! This review is for Shannon. She gave my husband a much needed haircut along with a beard trim. I didn't think it was possible to love my husband's beard any more than I already do, but to see how nicely she trimmed and shaped it, just WOW! His haircut was also really well done and it was exactly what he asked for. I got highlights and a trim and it turned out GORGEOUS! I also had her reshape and wax my eyebrows and they turned out great. She's professional, very easy to converse with, and she takes pride in her work. AMBER VILLINES IS A HAIR GODDESS!! She is a magician with color, and my hair is always spectacular when I leave her chair. This review is for Jen only! I called the salon and was able to book a same-day appointment for a haircut for my 13 year old step daughter. The receptionist said my appointment was with Jen, being new to town I don't know any stylists so this is a gamble. I decided to trust it despite several bad (think HACK) experiences in town. We showed up early, and reception wasn't really all the warm. No greeting just "Who are you here to see?" Which is fine but not the best greeting! This made me feel a bit standoffish but all in all I'm still relaxed. Pretty much right on time Jen comes over to greet us and bring us to the chair. We go through the consultation and we tell her what we want. It takes about 30 Mins for the haircut and style. AND SHE NAILS IT. My step daughters hair is perfectly cut and looks gorgeous. I would definitely recommend Jen to anyone for haircuts! read more

My experience with this salon has always been terrific. Eddie at the front desk is efficient and funny. Jamie is fantastic and Ali is an attentive, thoughtful and a talented stylist. Ali took the time to listen to what I wanted, explained how she would cut and color my hair and offered advice on how to care for my style after I left the salon chair. Also, I can't say enough positive things about Amy W. Like Ali, she is also attentive, thoughtful and talented, and there is a reason why her books are jammed packed full of appointments, weeks and even months ahead of time.
