Called, Asked if they did CURLER SET, old school, short hair & it would be a once a week appointment with an occasional color, a year round resident if we liked the service. She wants a CURLER SET so it stays in longer, better than a CURLING IRON. They said YES. Made the appointment. Dropped my aunt off, 30 mins later she was more than ready to leave. Her Hair was as straight as could be. The stylist had BIG CURLING ROLLERS that could not possibly work & she blow dried the hair BEFORE attempting to roll on the Curlers ??? Clearly the stylist had no idea what she was doing. The hair was not very short but not hanging on her shoulders length. I could not believe what I saw. So terribly disappointing. The shampoo job was another issue. My aunt told the girl there was a fair amount of hair spray in the hair, she used next to no shampoo and barely massaged what there was in , like she was afraid to touch her head. My aunt has been getting her hair done every week since I was a child and I am a young 70. So I got my hair done a little less than a month ago by Nola & I'm absolutely enamored. I came in wanting a curly wolf cut & I left with my hair beautiful, healthy, & exactly what I wanted which was a concern of mine due to an prior unhappy hair experience somewhere else. Nola is exceptionally talented, she's kind, patient, understanding, & accommodating. This little gem is owned by someone I've known for years ! He opened up a few years and is slaying the hair game with new techniques and the latest style trends in the industry. It's a little bit of a drive for me coming from ft lauderdale but well worth it ! sean is an absolute GOD SEND. I think I have tried every blonde stylist in the area, and never have been happy with the chunky highlights I've been given. I also love how Sean did not speak badly about my previous stylist, because I find that to be true in this industry. He said my color looked great previously, but he understood what I wanted different. I heard rave reviews and saw amazing color work by this salon, especially the owner. After waiting to give birth, I finally scheduled an appointment. I received three phone calls, all extremely rude, telling, not asking, me to reschedule. And at that, I was told "I'll call you back", but didn't receive a prompt call. I had to seek out the owner on Instagram and inquire again. While I understand this happens in the hospitality world, there is a point where you have to be kind and respectful to your patrons. The front desk at the salon did nothing of the sort. When I consulted with the owner, he didn't seem very apologetic either. Just because you say you're sorry, does not actually mean that you are. Actions speak louder than words. I will gladly take my business elsewhere, even if it means lesser quality of a cut and color. I'm visiting from Boston and decided vacation was a good excuse to get my hair done. I looked at previous reviews and decided to give it a try. I typically get a $100+ haircut on Newbury St in Boston, and I must say this $65 haircut has all of my previous home cuts beat! Sean did a fabulous job managing my exceptionally thick mane. He put in layers and kept the overall long look with preserved body/flow while taking out significant weight. There was consistent attention to small detail, including finishing touches after the blow dry. I especially appreciate that he made sure everything was even at the end (which has historically been tricky for me, maybe due to my thick hair). I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to my future visits to Florida to get my next cut. Bonus: a funny customer on her way out mentioned that she appreciated the high quality toilet paper in the restroom, so I guess they really do pay attention to the small details read more

I do not recommend this place, I did tons of research and loved Sean's work, I tried to book with him but he was booked out for months so I set an appointment with Megan, the whole appointment I've never felt more like I was invisible in my life, as Megan had a conversation with some other girls about some stupid petty drama while I sat there staring at them, in addition I was not happy with my hair color at all from the one star ratings here I see Megan is one of the sun par hair colorists at this salon and that it's not just me who wasn't happy with the results of her coloring, I received a bit of an attitude from Sean who told me my color was perfect and that it was me lol and from Megan but I told them I wasn't happy with the results and we settled on a solution still wasn't 100% satisfied when I left 700$ later but lesson learned, I should have left in the first 10 minutes of being utterly ignored and not treated like I feel a client should be treated, they really made me miss my hair salon the one I get cuts from. read more

Sean was amazing and so talented to get my hair to look perfect. I would tell you I would be able to find some flaw or something I didn't like and for the first time in 20 years he got my highlights color and placement perfect while still maintains the integrity of my hair! This review is so overdue, but I have nothing but amazing things to say about this salon, and particularly McKayla. My now-husband and I moved to Jupiter in February and got married a few weeks ago, so I was super nervous about getting my hair done with a new person before the wedding. I also knew that I really wanted to go lighter, but I didn't want my hair to turn out streaky or worse, totally fried. Salon 26 came highly recommended by my mom, so I called to schedule an appointment, caveating that I really wanted someone who was super experienced with blonde balayage... cue McKayla! McKayla probably spent a solid 3.5 hours on my hair on a Friday afternoon, meticulously lightening my hair and taking no shortcuts in the process. The end result looked so natural and so beautifully blended that even the attached photo doesn't do it justice. McKayla aside, the salon itself is also wonderful. The staff is super professional and accommodating, the salon is clean, and you can tell that all of the stylists know what they're doing - even though I'm clearly very partial to McKayla, I would feel like I was in good hands with any of them. My least favorite part about moving is having to find a new hair salon, so I'm thrilled and grateful to have found Salon 26 and would recommend to anyone! read more

One star for the attitude of the salon owner. I've had some pretty bad salon experiences to the point where I haven't wanted to have to go to a salon for about a year but never have I ever been so infuriated by the treatment I received from Sean! He was rude and belligerent, he insulted my appearance and he made assumptions about my income. I can't believe someone in the service industry would ever treat someone the way he treated me! I really wanted to like this place based off of the beautiful pictures on instagram and the positive reviews. I chose this place because the pricing seemed reasonable compared to other salons in the area and I don't get to spend money on my hair very often so I came in for a color consultation. I met with Megan and showed her the pictures of the icy platinum blonde I wanted (attached below). She was confident and said it would be really easy and I would come out looking like the bright blonde girl I wanted. She quoted me $185 for a full highlight and I came in with a grown out balayage (see below). After 5 hours of being in the salon and foil after foil after foil, she dried my hair and there was barely any noticeable difference in color! (see 2nd photo) Still bright blonde on the bottom like the old balayage, but still almost completely dirty blonde all along the crown with only teeny tiny streaks of highlight. So either something was wrong with the technique she used, or she shouldn't have promised me she could make it look the way I asked if she couldn't achieve it. She tried to say to it was because I have a lot of hair so that's why the color didn't come out the way I wanted and I would have to come back again to get it really blonde, but its not like I was trying to go from black hair to platinum blonde, in fact my old stylist used to give me a beautiful beach blonde with just high lift color and took less than half the time to do it! I paid $185 for the color and left feeling defeated after spending that much money and still not having the color that I wanted. I struggled with the appearance of my hair and what to do until I finally reached out to her to see if she would be able to fix it since I was really unhappy with the result. She apologized and said she could get me in right away. So I came back this weekend and after another 5 hours in the salon, it was finally looking more like the way I had originally wanted. This time she had talked to one of the more experienced colorists in the salon and used a different technique so it came out completely different. She said oh I'm so sorry that you weren't happy the first time and you even had to come back her but it didn't seem like she was very sorry when she brought me up to the counter and asked me to pay ANOTHER $135 (another full priced service!) for her to fix the color! All in all I paid $355 plus tip to get the color I wanted. I thought it was bad paying $250 for a master colorist at Anushka! So I would have been better off going to someone more skilled who took less of my time and got it right the first time! When I told the owner I was upset about having to pay that much to fix the color and spend another one of my afternoons in the salon when it wasn't done right the first time, he started yelling at me and said "well YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN COME BACK HERE! And I can't believe someone ESPECIALLY SOMEONE WHO LOOKS LIKE YOU would think they could back and not pay! and this is a direct quote "WELL YOU DON'T EXACTLY LOOK LIKE YOU'RE POOR!!!!" So basically since I work in retail and dress well because I get a good discount on clothes, he thought he could take advantage of me! I don't want to bash Megan because she was really nice and gave me a good cut, but she is really young and obviously still learning so she didn't get the color right the first time. But she shouldn't have promised me that she could do it, and the owner shouldn't have charged me what ended up being more than a master colorist's fee at another salon by the time everything was done to have my hair done by an entry level colorist. read more

I made an appointment here after hearing great things. Went to just get a trim. I walked in and no one even noticed I was there for at least 5 mins. Finally got seated in the chair and had to wait another 15-20 mins, meaning I had an apt at 1:30 and didn't even see my hairstylist until 1:50. I asked for the SAME style cut I had (long layers, just take 2 inches off everywhere). Daniel rushed the haircut (whole thing including washing and blow drying took ~25 mins). I thought my hair looked fine at the salon but when I got home and really inspected, my hair was SO UNEVEN. The layers were practically nonexistent and the face framing layers on my right side were at least 1/2 inch long than my left side. There was a piece of hair on the side of my head that was literally 2 inches long than the rest, not even touched. I paid $75 (not including a generous tip) for a shit haircut, not happy at all. I've had a better cut for $20. Only pros were good vibes of the place and offered water. read more

Nice local salon. Very comfortable and non pretentious which is very welcomed. My stylist is very friendly and attentive, and Listens to what I want and takes her time. The salon overall is well priced and there seems to be a lot of talented stylists. I have been back a few times and will continue. I have also recommended my stylist to others. First of all I went there to get my roots done and a trim. My roots turned out lighter than the rest of my hair. Then I asked for a minimal cut, most one inch. I also asked that the cut was straight across.... Well, She cut my hair in a U shape ( I hate the U shape look!) and took off at least 3 inches. This will take a year to recover from. I am so mad everytime I look at the length of my hair in front I want to cry... Really not happy. They should really listen to their clients!
