Awful news experience. My 94yr old aunt went back for 2nds against my advice from what she told me about on the 1st visit which was many months before. She was going to try a different operator, I was still saying bad idea. We stopped in to make an appointment and the woman from the shampoo area came running up screaming "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN" . I had never encountered anything like this before. This woman Heather was the stylist and I hate to use that term because she she was NOT ! At this point my aunt was stuck having to use her again. I followed her back to the shampoo station and quietly explained why my aunt had not returned , not the excuse my aunt gave which was "I was n NY" which was not true. I nicely and clearly explained we were looking for a VERY GOOD MASSAGE SHAMPOO W/ SOAP, hair rinsed , while wet hair rolled in old school CURLERS and head put under a Head Dryer; comb/brush style with enough hair spray till she comes back next Friday. I got a "YES I CAN DO THAT". Well when we arrived for the appointment things did not go at all as agreed on. Long story short it lasted 1 day. But that LOUD SCREECHING VOICE will be embedded in my mind and ears for a good time to come. My aunt's stylist for many years retired and we have been to SO MANY SALONS EVERY WEEK. Condescending, arrogant "stylist" I was happy that there was no wait when I arrived but I should have seen it as a sign. The person who cut my hair was confrontational right off the bat and very unpleasant. I realize it's not a high-end salon, I've been to many of those but have also had great experiences with the inexpensive ones. I can even tolerate attitude, some stylists I've worked with in the past have it but they also backed it up with a great cut, not so in this case. I don't know if it was on purpose or because she is inept. It was poorly executed uneven and unflattering and nothing like what I asked for. Thankfully she only cut a tiny bit. I regret giving her a 50% tip but oh well... read more

have thick, unruly hair and the stylist just doesn't ever want to blow it dry. Even if I book the package of highlights, cut, dry, and let them know at the time of booking, Val just doesn't want to and makes it known. It's worse in season when snowbirds come back to town - they want to do "easy & quick" appointments but she's not up for anything difficult. You get what you pay for. read more

Honestly shocked to see such bad reviews. I had nothing but a great experience! I made an appointment about five days in advance using the app. It was very easy. I appreciate that it shows you the different prices that each stylist charges. I had to wait about ten minutes but I was okay with that. I understand that sometimes hair takes a bit longer than planned. I would be upset if someone rushed through my hair, so I can't be upset about the stylists taking their time on the person before me. I witnessed each employee cleaning their stations in between customers and masks were worn by all the whole time. You also have your temperature taken upon entry. Toni was my stylist and she was great. I felt attended to and my hair came out beautiful. read more

I don't have any before pictures that I would like to share but Elizabeth did an AMAZING job on my hair. I was doing a box color hair dye for months and my hair looked yellow and brassy. I got a great haircut and advice on how to take care of my curls without frizz, which is a challenge in this humidity. Ched at the Jupiter Hair Cuttery is amazing. He's an expert on coloring, highlighting, and everything else he does. I wish I had found him a long time ago when all I did was go salon to salon trying to find someone who can do foil highlights and a great cut. I always ended up disappointed after a few visits with different salons and hair stylists who just never seemed to really care. My hair would be too blonde or just not cut evenly. When I found Ched, I found the best. He does care and it shows in his work. I highly suggest you make an appointment with him. What a nice, down-to-earth guy who loves his family. read more

Terrible trim. Literally no one in the whole store and was done with my haircut in 10 minutes. She rushed through the entire process even when I told her this was my only my haircut of the year. Got home to had to trim it all over again because it was uneven. Pretty disappointed in the service and absolutely won't be coming back. I was taken quickly and by luck of the draw got someone that gave me a good haircut. As the traditional barber shop goes the way of the dial telephone to be replaced by the franchised "salons" that dot every shopping center, the ability to go back to someone you were pleased with is difficult. It's often; "Homer doesn't work here anymore" or "This week Homer works Monday afternoon, Tuesday evening and every third Wednesday etc." So, you play this game of chance and sometimes get a better haircut, or run home looking for that "Judge Smails golf hat" you got from your mother-in-law three Christmases ago. This time I was lucky, got his name, just not sure where he'll be four weeks from now. This was a four star experience; the inability to make an appointment with the operator you want cost a star. read more

Don't waste you hard earned money!!! Had a 9am appointment, guy said he was short of staff...but then sat on his ass and didnt offer to get my blowout started. Carol did my hair while my friend waited for another stylist to show. Carol was great, but charged me $35 for a blowout cause my hair is long...it barely touches my shoulders!! No style, no flat iron...just simple blow dry.... I will never get that hour back of my life, plus no stylist ever showed to do my friends hair...let me just reiterate that we both had set appointments we made a week in advance!! Will stick with Blo Out bars, better service plus cheaper and way worth the deal..wish I could give a negative 0 stars but 1 star was lowest option. read more
