Really professional. Had 4 areas of fat freezing in 1.5 hr session. Lovely salon with experienced practisioner she measured me and we discussed areas I waned treated. She set up and began treatment. I've had a smaller area done before at a different salon but this was more intense and I think much better. After treatment was compete she ("sorry cant remember the therapists name) massaged the treated areas which felt solid and frozen. At times it felt a little uncomfortable but not painful and I have high hopes for a good result in a few weeks time. I completely recommend this salon and would definitely use their treatments again, especially on a Groupon deal which made the treatment affordable. read more

After i moved to Melbourne, i was threading or wax my eyebrow by different beauty salon before, but i can't understand why most of them always make my eyebrow become thin and the arch too high, even i had told them i want it look naturally, but they still made it looks so weird. Last sat, is my first time to visit Salon 23, and i explained what i want to the shop owner, and she gave me some opinion also. Since she can understand what i want, so the result is superb, ! I must go there next time! read more

After years of threading in Dubai and since then struggling to find threaders in Aus, I've been fortunate to find Ravina and her newly opened Salon 23. What I loved about my appointment with Ravina was that she discussed with me how we should go about shaping my eyebrows, which had taken a beaten over the last few years. I'm so excited to be in capable hands! Eyebrows really do help shape your face and Ravina knows her stuff! After all my moving I think I've found my beauty therapist, now to find a dr, hairdresser and dentist, LOL! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Eugene is a very nice person, but he totally killed my hair. I…read moredon't know if he just didn't like me or what, but I brought in a photo of a beautiful ombre/balayage (seen here: http://s1.r29static.com//bin/entry/24b/x/1689368/image.png) and he turned my hair orange. There wasn't even any blending of the top black part INTO the orange, it was just a distinct line from black to orange, leaving me with a ridiculous cap of black hair on the top and fried orange hair on the bottom. He also put in some 90s highlights at the top of my head (wish I could post the photo!) making me look like an Asian Ginger Spice. He charged me $250 for this fright show. When I went back 2 days later to complain and pointed out all the flaws (no blending/balayage/ombre AT ALL - just the stark black/orange, the color ITSELF of bright orange, the crazy highlights, the complete lack of resemblance to my reference photo. etc.) he dyed it more ashy and DID improve it a bit (though it could hardly have gotten worse!) but charged me another $200 just to fix the disgusting mess that HE'D created! Horrible experience, would never go again, and highly recommend going to ANY OTHER SALON AT ALL. I had to pay almost $500 to end up with fried hair that I don't HATE but also that looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the photo I brought in (and showed him many times).

Today i got my hair coloured for the first time (from black virgin hair) - an ash blonde balayage by Eugene and Min, and they did a fantastic job! Unlike the previous review, I was surprised at how similar it was to the picture i had shown them. I think i need a loyalty card because i go so often!! thank you for doing such a wonderful job :D
