I believe that because the polish was an older and therefore thicker, it caused there to be too much polish on my nails. There was a definite huge rise on the tip of my nail as a result of this, and I am not new at manicures. If i am paying £19 for a basic manicure (that didn't even remove most of my cuticle), then I expect it to last at least a few days. Overall: Manicures are a no-no. Hair is so-so. If you are desperate, then go-go.

We can honestly say ALL the Staff are polite, helpful and are certainly not stuck up and treat everyone equally. My wife ran her own hairdressing business for over 20+ years and so extremely difficult to please when it comes to having her hair cut Dave @ Alcatraz came highly recommended by friend of a friend & she says that she will not let anyone else near her hair now Dave's bookings diary is well booked in advance so he can't be that expensive or stuck up LOL. However I have found a salon that are now feeling more like a sanctuary than any other place. They are situated within the Marthlesham Leisure centre and I have been going to them every 4 weeks for 5 months now and it has been amazing. A standard facial costs £32.50 including a back and shoulder massage :) I think this is the best of both worlds you get the relaxing massage but also the pamper all in one. I would highly recommend them especially since they are not located in Ipswich town centre and easily accessible from the A12.
