The "clientcare" email isn't monitored so she's having it removed. As far as my concerns about feeling unprotected and stumbling into this mess, she explained they don't have access to previous transactions not involving their own company. That meant they did not see previous inspections showing the need for repairs. With that in mind, she'll ask agents and inspectors to be more assertive about the potential buyer having a full and complete inspection report before signing anything. So I'm changing my review back to 5 stars because Emmy was amazing, and the owner was responsive once she knew of the problem. I'm satisfied with the outcome. ....now, the FLIPPER--that will be a different review altogether.....

Once we focused on a house, she recommended a knowledgeable inspector, and recommended excellent contractors for work that we wanted done, caught an oversight on my part that would have cost us money, and cheerfully tracked down information we needed from a nearby construction site, county officers, and from the seller (through their agent). On the house we bought we also were placed in a "back-up" position; her explanation and experience with that situation persuaded us to stick with our offer and - lo and behold it worked out. We had some contact with others in her firm and were very happy with the backup and information they provided as well. Without a doubt a great and satisfying experience for us; I recommend her without reservation.

Theresa was super responsive and available when we needed her, and their Docu-sign documents were handy so we could complete everything online from another town and expedite the process. What could have been a big headache with a bank-owned property was almost effortless with Theresa's help. She was always there for us with answers to our questions, she had great sympathy when the process slowed on the bank's end, and her thoughtful gestures along the way were much appreciated. While I don't ever want to grow out of the great place we got, at least I'll know we'll be in good hands if we eventually need something bigger.

I really can't imagine there's anyone else out there that has the knowledge and ability to work the housing market like she does. Right away she established a great level of trust, which is great because as a first time homebuyer its hard to know to know what to look for, and sometimes its hard to even figure out what you're looking for. She was able to work with me on narrowing down the right search criteria, neighborhoods to search in, and was always conscious of financial capabilities. She also has amazing vision. I have a hard time visualizing what can be done in spaces or how they can be changed/altered/improved, and her ability to communicate that to me was probably one of the most beneficial aspects of our search. She is also very good at describing what would or wouldn't need to be done at certain houses to suit my lifestyle. For example, I'm very passionate about cooking so the kitchen was super important, and I have a dog and wanted to be close to a park or have a yard. By getting to know me she was able to put so many pieces together and translate at each house how to make it work for what I wanted. When we finally found the perfect house she was on top of getting that offer down literally within minutes of talking to her on the phone. We were able to close in under a month, and she went above and beyond to make sure the house was fully cleaned and taken care of before move in, which she did just because she's amazing. Honestly, if I took the time to list everything she did that was above and beyond, this would take about ten more minutes to read. I can also honestly say that while I'm relieved to have found the perfect house, I wouldn't have been bummed if it took a little bit longer because she was such a pleasure to work with and be around. My experience with Yonette is that you're treated like family from the second you start working with her, and if/when I sell and move into a new house she will definitely be the first person I call.

Additionally, the land needed some attention prior to sale (road repair, building repair, etc) for which Yonette secured contractors and oversaw their work. Prior to working with Yonette, we had attempted to sell to a government entity that we thought would want the land, and they had declined. With Yonette's help, we reengaged with that same entity and they ended up being the buyer. Now, that land is now part of a wildlife corridor!
