The ladies were all very nice and we found Nicki H. to be extremely helpful; not just with helping us find what we were looking for, but by explaining the differences of the products to us. I was considering purchasing an expensive shampoo and conditioner but Nicki assured me the one I am currently using is just as good, that I didn't need to spend the additional money replacing it. I found her honesty to be rare and refreshing, and would much rather spend my money at a store that listens to their customers needs and provides such great service, unlike the unpleasant experiences I have had at the Ulta's of the world. We will both be going back to Beauty First on 78th and Dodge for our beauty supply needs.

I do wish everything had a price on it, I did pick up a few things that weren't quite the price I expected but still reasonable enough to keep. I also think their people are more knowledgeable compared to run of the mill makeup counter staff.

My eldest flew home from college & her first engineering job in Michigan multiple times because "Traci is the best!". When Traci, who'd styled our hair for 15 years, wasn't available prior to her wedding, the owners called to apologize and bent over backwards to set us up with a fantastic substitute. They ensured each of us had the wonderful experience we've become accustomed to. Her cut & color were beautiful! With my new color & highlights I looked and felt ten year younger. Concepts gives us their full attention today as they did when we brought in 8 little girls for a "princess party" 20 years ago! Their staff receives ongoing education so they are on top of new styles, materials and retail. With each service you either receive a makeup application, mini-mani or pedi. The scalp massage received with each hair & nail service is so relaxing. If you are looking for a reliable salon/spa for your whole family, (husband included!), Concepts is your answer.
