Nothing was ever stated prior to the service. When I questioned the owners, their statement was that they need to charge more than other salons to keep the business open. Last time I checked, if you provide a good service, you get paid accordingly. I did not know that it was ok to upcharge because a business is failing. This salon is disgustingly dirty! They took a huge chunk of flesh out of my daughter's finger and laughed about it. If it were possible to give negative stars, I absolutely would! Wish I would have read the other negative reviews, because that is all they have, before entrusting them to provide this service. The nails they put on are not even straight- they are crooked and causing my daughter unnecessary discomfort. Yes I understand there is some discomfort with acrylic nails, but they should not be so painful that they have to be removed the following day. Why are businesses like this allowed to remain open? It is hard to find people to do gross tasks, like diapering, for so little pay. People are working long hours, I hear of double shifts and more. I speak as a long-time volunteer.
