As I was walking around, one of the employees asked if I needed assistance. I told her what I was looking for and she took me straight to it, saving me a lot of time. I like shopping in the Ulta stores because unlike their competitor, their stores aren't filled with heavy fragrances and perfumes. I can actually shop in the store for products and try new ones that have samples available. The store is clean & the employees provide good service. There is plenty of parking available.

I showed Jae several photos of the "inspiration" I was leaning towards, and she talked me through the haircut she was giving me - even incorporating the fact that I don't put product in my hair everyday and modified the haircuts that I showed her explaining why she was cutting it a certain way and how to style it. I was also very impressed at the price - only $40 before tip, which in my opinion is well worth the price. I'm so glad I found a great hair stylist after moving to Enterprise!

When I moved back to Dothan, hormones and the "garden district water" took a toll on my hair. It…read morebecame frizzy and was falling out. It looked brittle and cheap from being over processed by the stylists that were being recommended. Fortunately, I found Candy at Nicole Allen. She used the same products that my salon in NY had used and she was open to my suggestions on how to apply the color for a more natural look. I have dark hair with a lot of natural highlights. Everyone else had died my hair solid black and due to the overly dark color buildup, it had taken on a purple tone. Candy not only makes my hair look natural at 52, but she has transformed the texture of my hair back to the shiny, healthy condition it had always been. This has everything to do with her in-depth knowledge of her trade. She actively pursues the most innovative products, processes, treatments, tools, and techniques in her industry. She never stops seeking a better solution for her clients' needs. She is dedicated to being the best, though she would never say as much. Not only has she won national competitions, but international as well. Candy is very talented and could easily hold her own in any large city based on my experience with high end NY salons. On top of her doing an amazing job, she is incredibly kind and humble. She's personable and authentic, which is something I value greatly in my relationships.

What makes her amazing is that she gives excellent knowledge of helping a client have and maintain a healthy head of hair. She has a great passion for the art that she provides, which is very rare to find, because most stylist are in it for the money only, which doesn't necessarily make them a great stylist. I normally get hard freeze curls, but Cristina explained that she can do it, but prefers not to and then broke it down to me as to why she won't do it. We literally talked 45 mins (consultation) before she started the services on me. I felt so comfortable talking to her, it felt as though I known her for years. I could go on, but all I will say is that I would HIGHLY recommend Cristina (the owner) to anyone. And just as the website states it is a multicultural salon. She does all types and textures of hair.

I currently had acrylic on my toes and I wanted them removed and I wanted a fresh set. Somewhere along the way it was misinterpreted that I just wanted the acrylic removed and they were very rude about it and then charged me an extra $20 because they had already put gel on one of my feet. I totally understand the lost product and that is fine because I should've said something sooner, but $20 is insane. The guy that was drilling the acrylic off was very heavy-handed and rough. I left with scraped cuticles. I also told him that my toenails were very sensitive and it just seemed like he did not listen to me at all. So $60 later I left with a pedicure and destroyed nailbeds.
