She was excellent! She gave me exactly what I wanted and was very cool and patient. The second time I got my haircut by Sue, this was a very polar experience. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted and asked just the top of my head to resemble the style and my sides to be an even shave. She ignored this and before I could say anything else she began chipping away from the top to make a fade which I really did not want. She was also not gentle whatsoever. She then continued to talk over me, run to take a call, run back, take a hunk out of my hair, and when all was said and done she used a gel that immediately flaked up. The gel could absolutely just not be compatible with my hair type but it just felt all a little unprofessional. I'm not going back, and if you're getting a cut that involves shaving, I don't recommend you go in either.

Every time I went to layers salon, I felt like I was visiting friends. I even brought my toddler with me a few times and even though he was a little rambunctious, everyone welcomed him with open arms. When I first started getting my hair done at Layers, I had a bob, then eventually decided on a pixie cut. My desires for my hair were always heard and cuts executed amazingly. I was a gift card that had a bunch of different stores and restaurants and Ulta was one of them and I figured I may as well use it because I'm always there. She took my phone for me, and proceeded to do everything that needed to be done and had so much patience with me. I got nervous because I felt like it was busy and she reassured me that it was no issue and took her time with me. She is an example of an amazing employee. Freebies make us happy. :) For me, what sets this particular location apart from some of the other stores is the large layout, cleanliness and overall airy and aesthetically pleasing product arrangement. The staff is pleasant and helpful without being overbearing. Also, this B & B Works is in the Preaknass Shopping Center surrounded by other stores to get your shopping needs met. Ie., Flair, a Nine West Outlet, Annie Sez, Macy's and more. They have a pretty sink and mirror for you to wash up after trying on the soaps, lotions, even lip glosses. It seems each time I visit, B & B Works has come up with another lip gloss flavor. Theirs is a collection of assorted fruity flavors. The gloss itself remains glossy on the lips for a while before the need to reapply. Mainly, I love the creativity of themes available during the different seasons. They have their staple signature scents in the way of candles, soaps, lotions and more, but it's always a thrill to walk in and see the new displays and seasonal items. I am submitting this complaint regarding my experience with Statera Bellus LLC (doing business as…read moreBellus Labs). I paid $10,000 for cosmetic product research and development services, which included the creation of two formulations: a leave in conditioner and a hair mist. After payment was made, the services were not completed as agreed after almost a year working with them, and it caused me to miss my launch deadline. They were nice at first but as soon as that contract was signed, it was like night and day how they started acting. The hair mist formulation was never delivered after almost a year of waiting. A sample of the leave in conditioner was eventually provided 5 months later, but it was defective and not usable as a finished product. As a result, the deliverables outlined in the agreement were not fulfilled and i missed my launch deadline. I made multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly with the company, including requesting completion of the project or a refund. These efforts did not result in a resolution only threats from them. Because the services were incomplete and the product provided was not usable, I was seeking a full refund of what I paid which they denied me. After my attempts to resolve this matter directly were unsuccessful, I have initiated formal steps through the legal process to seek recovery of the funds paid. I would NOT recommend this company at all.

After I posted a negative review about my experience, I received communication referencing possible legal action, and my original Google review was removed, which forced me to repost it. My project was significantly delayed because a required ingredient was unavailable. We began this process in 2024, and it was not completed until 2026. During that time, I experienced repeated delays, canceled calls, and inconsistent communication. I was also later told I no longer qualified for 30-day shelf-life testing because I "took too long to respond. However I want to point out that there was delays on their end. So they can delay but I can't. The delays on their end included issues on their end involving ingredient sourcing and vendor communication. Also had a call canceled do to weather conditions and also do to electricity or Wi-Fi being down. Based on my personal experience, I do not recommend this company. I spent a substantial amount of money and left extremely disappointed with both the process and the customer service. I encourage people to read the one star reviews before making a decision.
