She was excellent! She gave me exactly what I wanted and was very cool and patient. The second time I got my haircut by Sue, this was a very polar experience. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted and asked just the top of my head to resemble the style and my sides to be an even shave. She ignored this and before I could say anything else she began chipping away from the top to make a fade which I really did not want. She was also not gentle whatsoever. She then continued to talk over me, run to take a call, run back, take a hunk out of my hair, and when all was said and done she used a gel that immediately flaked up. The gel could absolutely just not be compatible with my hair type but it just felt all a little unprofessional. I'm not going back, and if you're getting a cut that involves shaving, I don't recommend you go in either.

I had called a few other salons in the area for an appt first and their manner on the phone was rude, layers wasnt. They were kind and accommodating. Every time I went to layers salon, I felt like I was visiting friends. I even brought my toddler with me a few times and even though he was a little rambunctious, everyone welcomed him with open arms. When I first started getting my hair done at Layers, I had a bob, then eventually decided on a pixie cut. My desires for my hair were always heard and cuts executed amazingly. I was a gift card that had a bunch of different stores and restaurants and Ulta was one of them and I figured I may as well use it because I'm always there. When I got to the register, she was trying to scan it and she realize that I had to download the QR code and fill out the information. She took my phone for me, and proceeded to do everything that needed to be done and had so much patience with me. I got nervous because I felt like it was busy and she reassured me that it was no issue and took her time with me. She is an example of an amazing employee. Usually they run specials, sales and pairing coupon offerings. I often leave B & B Works with a freebie or two. I like that. Who wouldn't. Freebies make us happy. :) For me, what sets this particular location apart from some of the other stores is the large layout, cleanliness and overall airy and aesthetically pleasing product arrangement. The staff is pleasant and helpful without being overbearing. Also, this B & B Works is in the Preaknass Shopping Center surrounded by other stores to get your shopping needs met. Ie., Flair, a Nine West Outlet, Annie Sez, Macy's and more. They have a pretty sink and mirror for you to wash up after trying on the soaps, lotions, even lip glosses. It seems each time I visit, B & B Works has come up with another lip gloss flavor. Theirs is a collection of assorted fruity flavors. The gloss itself remains glossy on the lips for a while before the need to reapply. Mainly, I love the creativity of themes available during the different seasons. They have their staple signature scents in the way of candles, soaps, lotions and more, but it's always a thrill to walk in and see the new displays and seasonal items. Right now, I'm particularly digging everything in the orange scent. If you are as wild about all things orangey as I am, then check out the Orange Sapphire line. I love the OS hand cream, shower gelee exfoliant and bubble bath and other items. I really like their antibacterial foam squirt bottles as well as the lotion soap. I'm currently donning a pair of Tropical Paradise anti- bac soaps in my bathroom- the foam and the lotion anti-bac. I have a little caribbean theme happening around my apartment for the summer. Candle scents like Island Nectar, Caribbean Escape abound to remind me that even if I can't travel to the islands at this time, I can bring a bit of the Caribbean paradise to me.

I was told after they sampled my pool water that the hardness was low and I needed to buy 70 dollars worth of calcium. I did and when I got home my hardness strips read normal. Prior to adding the new chemical I brought a second sample in which was also read by them as low hardness. I was skeptical so I brought the sample to a company across the road. Their equipment was all computer based rather than interpreted by the technician. They came up with normal hardness confirming my pool strips. I am not making any accusations that they were doing this intentionally but I did almost waste 70 dollars and add too much calcium to my pool. I think I prefer when a machine reads the chemistry rather than a technician so there is less room for error. they took the calcium back as a return with out difficulty but it was a real pain in the rear for me and a waste of my time

I am submitting this complaint regarding my experience with Statera Bellus LLC (doing business as…read moreBellus Labs). I paid $10,000 for cosmetic product research and development services, which included the creation of two formulations: a leave in conditioner and a hair mist. After payment was made, the services were not completed as agreed after almost a year working with them, and it caused me to miss my launch deadline. They were nice at first but as soon as that contract was signed, it was like night and day how they started acting. The hair mist formulation was never delivered after almost a year of waiting. A sample of the leave in conditioner was eventually provided 5 months later, but it was defective and not usable as a finished product. As a result, the deliverables outlined in the agreement were not fulfilled and i missed my launch deadline. I made multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly with the company, including requesting completion of the project or a refund. These efforts did not result in a resolution only threats from them. Because the services were incomplete and the product provided was not usable, I was seeking a full refund of what I paid which they denied me. After my attempts to resolve this matter directly were unsuccessful, I have initiated formal steps through the legal process to seek recovery of the funds paid. I would NOT recommend this company at all.
