The blush was not a color that matched at all. I asked to show me a way to even out my kinda uneven eyes. She put a khaki colored eye shadow up by my brows. That's it. I asked her for something to even out my wonky and deflated lips. She followed my lip line, kinda. And the lip stain ran like crazy. (Pic is from the parking lot, not hours later). I asked how to help my eyebags and bags under that a little less visible. Even a tad. Nope. The girl was kinda judgemental and very unskilled. I understand we all gotta start somewhere, but i could've done this on my own. As a 55 year old, i think i do better then she did. Then was the lash application. She told me they would last around 3 days. She couldn't get them to stick. By the time I got home (went straight home, after my appointment at 230), one cluster was loose. When I woke upthe next morning, 2 clusters were on my pillow. They didn't even last 24 hours. Ulta did refund my $ for the lashes. Overall terrible experience. I paid for these services, I did not get my money's worth.

No security cameras and no crosswalks sounds like a perfect place to spend hundreds on beauty products and then get hit by a car!

I decided I needed the confidence boost provided by hair and makeup. I made an appointment at Drybar, and then directly after at Cos Bar. The darling Natasha did my makeup, and she talked to me the whole time so I would feel comfortable and relaxed leading up to my speech. She was absolutely darling. My makeup looked so good, and I love the products she recommended. The best thing: if you spent $200 or more, you got a free spring samples kit. The samples are incredible and easily valued at well over $200. I left for a work trip the day after, and packing was so fun because I had all these lovely little sample sizes. I will be a customer forever. And I will come here whenever I need my makeup with a side of pep talk and friendly chit chat.
