She asked me how I like my hair and I said I would like it long because thats how my BF likes it and she flipped and said " I have never let a man dictate how I wear my hair". I didn't ask her my opinion, but okay.just cut my hair lady. She also said that when me and my BF break up I can wear my hair how I like it. I have been with my BF for & years so not break up anytime soon than you very much. Also, I wear my hair long because I like it that way and I like the way my BF likes my hair. mind you this lady wasn't wearing a wedding ring so that should tell you something. Then she asked about what I do for work and I told her I was in AmeriCorps and she proceeded to tell me, " make sure they pay you". What the heck? I will be getting paid and if I wasn't is that her business. The awkwardness sort of just continued throughout until I decided to quit talking because this lady was a real spaz and I didn't give a **** about her opinions on my life because I came here for a hair cut not a dang lecture.

If I could give this Walgreens Pharmacy on Coon Rapids Blvd and Crooked Lake zero or negative stars…read morethat would definitely be a better rating. For about a year and a half I have really noticed the customer service of this location is complete garbage. They barely ever have the drive-thru open, saying they are having technical issues, and when I call, I get hung up on constantly. One of the pharmacists, that goes by Neby (Nebyeleul) Reta, was so rude that with a screw up that THEY made and my insurance was trying to resolve he was very pushy and wasn't listening to her on the phone and talking over her and eventually hung up on us both when she was explaining what he did wrong as to what made it such a hassle for me to get my meds. I was completely shocked! Apparently, anyone can be a pharmacist these days! ... I now I have a situation where one of them "helped" add my godson to my account and completely failed, so now I can't ever see any status on his meds...AND FORGET CALLING TO CHECK ANYTHING LIKE MENTIONED ABOVE. I have been going to this pharmacy for over 10 years as it's in my location, but I most likely have to switch elsewhere. Perhaps better management would help take care of this issue because it definitely is an ISSUE!

We are moving out of state and was bummed that I wouldn't get my 9 remaining soaps. I'm on a FB fanatic page and I showed my recent haul and said I was bummed. Jen from the CR location had me message her about the redemption of my card as I was moving. She said she'd figure out a way for me to get my soaps! Even tho the card says only valid at the MN she talked to someone at the location I'll be closest to and says I'll be able to get my free soaps there! How amazing is she to get this figured out for me and how generous of the new location to accept my card! I'm so excited!!! I have not tried to redeem yet so I can't speak if it will actually work (I assume it will) but I so appreciate Jen doing this for me and I will always stop back to the CR location when in town.

They have EVERYTHING, and the staff is friendly & knowledgeable. I found out about Norcostco last year, when we had a pre-performance makeup emergency: The online retailer I'd ordered from took its sweet time to process the order and then chose "molasses in January" shipping, so I was in a blind panic the night before the show. After 2648395 rounds of internet searches & follow-up phone calls looking for one highly specific Ben Nye product, I found Norcostco -- and they're RIGHT HERE! An independent, local business that has All The Things! (I mean, they're not exactly "right here" for us -- I have to drive across the whole #%&! metro to get there -- but it's *so* worth the trip. You can see the products, use the testers, play around, and walk out with what you need. Fantastic!)

This store has some of the hardest working pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and staff. Over time, the last couple of years maybe we have watch this store and staff take on closing Walgreens patients. The lines have tripled and the faces change monthly. This is the only 24 hour pharmacy, you are working them so hard, to the point of people leaving. Staff shortages to the point of having to close due to lack of coverage or a pharmacist needed time off. You care for the medication needs, the literal health of your customers, but not your own staff. No one complains to customers or patients, but when you come from the medical field you recognize the burnout. You see the turnover in staffing. Please help this store and hire more staff. If these wonderful people have touched your life, please post. Corporate needs to hear from us. Support the staff, understand the amount of work they take on with every closure. This is a five star pharmacy, if it is falling off the five star is not the employees. Be nice to the staff. No I am not an employee, my Aunt worked her whole career with Walgreens, but passed a long time ago. So this is just a patient standing up. We need this store, we want you to stop closing stores, and take better care of your staff. Thank you.
