The shop comprises a group of women that are not licensed but manage to do a decent job with weaves. I mention this only because there is a clear difference in a licensed stylist. For instance, I assume in cosmetology school you are taught more than just how to do hair but also the basics of running a business. The customer service portion here is missing. Such as I once found myself in a pointless argument with a stylist over how many packs of hair I needed. I am sure this is why she inflated my price :/ Nonethless, the job was decent for a short term fix but my experience didn't make it enough for me to want to return unless I desperately needed my hair done on a Sunday, as they are open 7 days a week. One stylist in the shop was working on three heads at one time! My appointment time was 2 hours, total. And that was the shortest time. No one who was there before me, left before me. My friend called and set up an appointment for each of us to have our hair done she scheduled them about 2 weeks out for 3pm we get there I was not approached-yet waved over to a chair at 4pm a hole hour later. I don't know my stylists name as she never introduced herself but I picked up on it being Ashley. None the less I spoke to Ashley she asked me what I wanted done I asked for a partial sew in I want to be able to wear it versatile up and down and part it in the front where I wanted. That was not my result. I had the top track like a halo around my head and she realized she messed up but proceeded to tell me that's what I asked for so I could wear it up and that she underestimated how thin my hair was because even pulling it up was still visible. I was just trying to process and look at my hair I was clearly disappointed but not sure what could be done so I go and get cash because it's cash only and left my friend for her hair to be finished and upon my return all eyes were on me like clearly I was a subject of discussion in my absence and the owner approaches me and proceeds to tell me that this what I asked for chucked it up to a miscommunication made no efforts to make amends and then continues to tell me I must pay for my services because this is what I wanted after I clearly stated it is not. She told me to pay for my services and I could come in in the future have them re do it to what I want but it's more expensive but she would give me a discount as if I wanted to ever return. When I left I felt so embarrassed ashamed and taken advantage of. I then found out the next day during my absence to get my cash to pay these people they were intending on getting physical with me if I complained. Literally bullying me to pay for poor non quality service and making me feel ashamed. It gets worse when I find a Godsend to fix my hair to my satisfaction and upon taking everything out to restart her braids were sloppy and rushed the sew in was trash she cut my tracks and proceeded to put glue in my hair! I had to start alll over! How unprofessional, and crude she clearly didn't have any idea how to do hair or she was so rushed or she pretended to be that she was careless or she clearly had a personal vendetta against me because she was being spiteful. It was an unwelcoming service I had no idea people were so crude it's really sad that this is a small black business in the community that I would have loved to support and share but they let themselves be a stereotype and lack class.

When I arrived for my appointment, she selected what I was looking for from her vast assortment of quality toppers, she did a few adjustments to the topper and I walked out a new woman.
