    Keeping this review short will be hard to do! Worst…read moreexperience in all my years of making retail purchases. I'm 43 years old and the VP of a large retail company. Never have I been talked to or treated like this by anyone let alone a retail company who's job is to provide customer service! I've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at Sunglass Hut all over the US. Never again! Purchased a pair of sunglasses in December and didn't like them. So went into the Park Meadows store and exchanged them and paid a difference of 98.00, so spent a total of 268.00. A week later went in to the Aurora mall location to return them as they were giving me a headache. Everything was fine and we were at the point of finalizing the refund. The lady told me I would be getting 98.00 back. I told her that was the amount of the upgrade but not the amount I had originally spent and being that the glasses were traded in instead of refunded that I was owed the entire amount of 268.00. She began to get combative and said that I had already received the credit and I would get back 98.00. I asked her to take a step back and think about why I did not agree. She got more combative, talking down to me and making me feel like a thief. At that point someone walked in the store with street clothes on. She asked if the rep needed help. She explained to her what was going on. The person looked at the receipts and went to the computer. I had no idea who this person was as the rep was working by herself. This person explained the same thing to me. She did so with major attitude. I asked them if I could borrow a pen and paper so I could try and explain why I should be getting my entire refund. They refused and asked me to go back to the original store. I told them I would not. I asked why they wouldn't listen and they said because I was trying to "get over" on them and I didn't understand that I had already received credit. I decided at this point to call another store. Within 30 seconds of explaining to the rep on the phone she understood and agreed with me and said the reps were not completing the transaction correctly. I asked her to call over to that store. As I walked back in another lady was in the store and she introduced herself as the manager. I guess she had just arrived front her half day and the other rep was leaving for the day. I explained to her all that had happened. She agreed that the reps were wrong and all the rep had to do was press next on the computer and it would have prompted her to issue a 98.00 credit card refund and 168.00 corporate check. WOW! Two people who work for the company for over 1 year couldn't understand simple math. They had both pairs of my glasses and 268.00 of my money but only wanted to give me 98.00 back. Pretty simple stuff here! How can they have these people working for them? Not once did they introduce themselves. Not once did they try to understand and just listen. Matter of fact the rep from the outside told me I didn't need to know who she was and Her name was "I don't have a name" Disgusting level of service! With the high level of adrenaline I was sick for three days straight with stomach pain. The Manager was apologetic. However that went wrong also but don't have time to get into all that. Bottom line is she did the refund properly and agreed that the rep from the other store was a trouble maker. The reason I'm writing this review is because the Regional Manager never called me back as I asked. Also did the request on their website. Over a week later and no call. Clearly they are Ok with this type of thing. Knowing retail employees it's clear to me that bad service and attitudes happen with these two employees on a regular basis. Obviously this Regional allows it.

    Rudy Project makes some of the best sunglasses and bike helmets I've ever worn. Their attention to…read moredetail and quality are second to none. Over the years I've worn products from the other big name brand sunglass makers and find the fit and optic quality of the Rudy Project models to be superior. I particularly like the wide range of lenses available for every lighting condition. I can easily fine tune the lenses of my Rydons for the anticipated conditions, whether it's bright mid-day sun (laser blue), hazy twilight (yellow or Racing Red) or after dark (clear). I don't use them, but several cycling and speed skating buddies say the prescription inserts work great, too. When I first tried a Rudy project helmet years ago, I wasn't a fan. They were heavy and hot. That changed a couple of years ago when they reengineered the entire line of helmets. Now, the Kontact+ is my helmet of choice. It's light and has tons of venting to let the breeze in and the heat out. The integrated bug net is also a big plus! i also like my Sterling. So, if you're looking for new sunglasses or helmet for your cycling and inline skating adventures, I highly recommend the Rudy Project products. They have wide variety of products to suit everyones' activity and sense of style. They have two web sites I visit.
