I had a pretty negative experience from a recent visit to Sephora…read more I was doing a return and a buyback of a perfume that we purchased at another location We got a Visa gift card as a gift and instead wanted to use that to purchase the perfume and get money back to our bank account That part went fine However it was when I was shopping further and looking to buy a cream for myself Now I know staff are there to be helpful and she was trying to be nice saying how if we purchase a fragrance we'd get four times the points which wasn't done on the repurchase And just before doing the transaction I told her that we did this on a Visa gift card and she said ...oh yah..:shouldn't be a problem...well it was a problem....the gift card didn't reload after doing the refund...I couldn't buy back the perfume with the gift card again....another staff member said that it usually takes 7-10 business days for the money to back on the card....so I ended up walking out without the perfume or the cream So disappointed and frustrating I think I will likely be going to the Pickering or Oshawa locations from now on

I had the worst experience today at this location…read more This is a lesson in staff being a bit too over helpful and chasing a commission We had just completed a refund and purchased back a perfume using a prepaid Visa card My wife was looking for something else in the store when we were being assisted by our one of their salespeople She then mentioned how there was some points promotion on fragrances that wasn't applied after we repurchased the perfume that wasn't applied and she could redo the transaction again with my wife's purchase of the cream she was about to buy Unfortunately our young lady wasn't up to snuff on her prepaid Visa card knowledge and when she again did the refund to our card and tried to do it again....it didn't take and somebody with that knowledge educated her that it takes 5-10 business days....so we walked out of there with no perfume and no cream and now we have to wait....hoping that they will still have that perfume and size.....we got nothing and she got nothing Last time I am shopping at that location

Wow. So overwhelmed by all the great options they have in this store…read more I came in to pick up a couple basic decorations and ended up purchasing a little bit of this and that. So many cute decorative items. The store has everything from hijabs, to fashion accessories, to children's books and toys, to greeting cards, to candy , to art, to soaps to holiday decorations and more. Yes you can anticipate the price being a few dollars more than secular/mainstream items but I can tell the quality of the products are really good; and many items are handmade. They also have an area to sit and chill or for your child to play while you shop. A lot of stuff here has been designed by Muslims who put a lot of effort and thought into products that meet our needs and are related to our Islamic identity. So come shop here and support this Muslim business. I recommend this shop.

I cannot day enough great things about Melissa!!! I took my son there for a haircut about a year…read moreago, and she was amazing! The cut was perfect - and he has gone to her ever since. She takes her time and provides as much care with him as she would an adult - and I really appreciate that! He actually gets compliments on his hair everywhere he goes. I had gone to the same stylist downtown for years, and spent way too much on parking and on my cut/colour/highlights- but loved what they did and was afraid to try anyone else. Well, when my regular stylist wasn't available just before our fall family photos, I decided to give Melissa a try for myself. She did one of the best colour/highlight/cut and style jobs I'd ever had done - at a fraction of the cost and right here in Ajax! I not only WOULD go back, I have an appointment with her next week! My only reservation in recommending Melissa is that the busier she gets, the harder it will be to get an appointment!

I brought my 13-year-old daughter here for a lash lift and tint as a birthday treat, and it was a…read morecomplete disappointment. She asked for a "natural" look, expecting a subtle lift and defined color. Instead, there was zero difference--her lashes remained completely straight and the tint did not take at all. When my husband brought her back inside, the technician dismissed her, claiming that's just what "natural" looks like, leaving my daughter in tears. A "natural" lift should still lift the lashes. Paying full price for a service that yielded no results is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I emailed management with photos showing the lack of results to request a refund or credit, and I was completely ignored. Terrible results and even worse customer service. We won't be back!

Staff are very professional and they have great prices for the services they provide. I appreciate the pre and post care reminders as well as the appointment reminders. Very helpful cause I'm forgetful. I think it's pretty cool that you can get treatments at other locations too, although I haven't visited the other locations yet. I personally request to only have Eman do my treatments, cause she's the best! Super knowledgeable, thorough with the treatments, and so kind. She always remembers details. Highly recommend!

I was hoping that they would have some of the more high end salon products that Trade Secrets can't seem to get but I wasn't able to find them here either. Im posting this now because I want to get my face looked at again and I remembered this place but decided to look at another. The ladies are all nice, I just didn't get lucky I guess.
