We popped in on a Saturday for a tasting without booking ahead and were pleasantly surprised to find live music playing. The ladies helping out there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and seemed to know everyone who came through the door. At first, there were no issues with seating; they have inside and outside seating on an attached patio. Once two o'clock rolled around, they had a live performer, and the place filled up. The music was good, and so was the wine; it was definitely worth a stop.

I like semi-sweet to sweet and they do have a sweet one but I was bummed that they were out of it. I got the flight so I could try 5 different ciders. They were all good. I liked the ginger one, the blueberry lemon, and the original. Their seasonal cider was Cheerwine cider and that was good too. They were out of 2 ciders but they had those available in cans so we bought them so we can try them at home! The bartenders are very friendly and both inside and outside are very spacious. Most of the outdoor seating section is under the roof so you get shade which I like. We'll take our puppies with us the next time!

The cidery is located in a converted factory building. As you approach the cidery, you'll see numerous outdoor tables and a few firepits for evening entertainment. Inside, there's plenty of indoor seating and a long bar, so finding a place to sit is not a problem. When we visited in the early afternoon, it wasn't too crowded, which was a welcome escape from the heat outside. Our server was very friendly and helped us choose our ciders after offering us some tastings. We savored our cold, refreshing ciders and watched as more people arrived. I particularly enjoyed the variety of ciders offered, catering to both sweet and dry preferences.

The front portion of the shop was full of wines but my intention was to check out the beers. He led me back to a smaller room that had a so many craft beers to choose from. It was so nice that there wasn't a Bud Light in sight. He explained that I could pick and choose my own variety pack and if there was a beer I wanted that wasn't in stock, he would have no problem ordering it. They even had several different kinds of sake, so I grabbed a bottle for my best friend. Overall for a small shop, I was quite impressed.

Our meal began with a nice glass of the house cab - we knew it would be good since the walls are lined in bottles of the elixir. Our first appetizer was the Applewood Bacon Wrapped Medjool Dates Stuffed with Gorgonzola Cheese and Topped with a Pesto & Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. They were so savory! We followed that with the Lump Crab Cakes and Jumbo Shrimp - simply fabulous! For the main course, we split the Seared Ahi Tina Fresh (fresh sliced ginger, wasabi and an awesome wasabi sauce) with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. Yes, the photo provided is a half-portion. It was so fresh and the asparagus was a nice complement. For dessert, we enjoyed a Cappuccino and the Limoncello Torte with Amaretto Cream. The atmosphere was comfortable and we enjoyed every delectable bite. This is a great place for a top-notch meal and to celebrate any occasion worthy of the supreme meal. We highly recommend Wine Sellars Bistro.
