My son is on a busy tight schedule with certain dental plan restrictions to work with. Robin went above and beyond to try to accommodate his situation. She even tried to work it out that he could get his x-rays started the same day we called, to get his teeth fixed faster. She was so courteous and understanding, that we like this place before even meeting them in person. We tried others that were closer, and they dismissed us within minutes even when we offered to pay with a credit card, or cash, if the dental plan wouldn't work! It says a lot when the person on the entrance desk is that willing to work with a new client and their personal situation. On that I will give the Burton Dental Care Office a 4. Amy had adorable pet photos in her room and told me all about her fur babies. Amy did such a thorough job with my teeth cleaning. She was so thoughtful to hand me chapstick to keep my lips moist throughout the cleaning. She gave a detailed explanation of what she was doing and told me of any teeth that needed extra attention or might need some repairs soon. Once she was completed with my cleaning Dr. Marsh checked her work. He is very kind and personable. One thing to note is that he is a perfectionist. He will often want to fix cosmetic related things with your teeth, and is honest if it is necessary dental work or just aesthetic. I got a groove in my tooth filled on based on his recommendation that not only will my tooth look nicer, but it will help the aggravation he was starting to see near my gum line. I will always go back to Dr. Marsh for my future teeth cleanings and dental work. There is simply no better dentist in the area.

Salerno insisted the tooth was in danger and that only dental surgery could save it. So I had a root canal(!) and part of my healthy gum cut off. Then, IMMEDIATELY after the final surgery, Salerno said I would lose the tooth soon anyways and that it wouldn't be long before it happened. So all those needles surgeries just so he could make some quick cash. Disgrace.

My root canal was four months old because the previous dentist was unable to fit a crown which she had twice sent out to the lab to create the customized crown , but both times the crown could not fit right in my mouth . I was feeling pretty defeated as my recent root canal procedure was pricey and the tooth was literally getting reinfected since a temporary nor a permanent crown could be fitted . After the second time I realized I would have to seek out a different dentist . I chose Dr Solerno because of his office ability to create in-house crowns and felt this would make it easier for them to tweak one on! Boy was I right about my psychic impression !! We spent a good amount of time discussing the smile and he was thus able to beautifully correct my slightly inverted teeth. I have never been so confident in my smile and I have also not stopped receiving compliments since I got the veneers. My partner's smile is also incredible now and one of the fun parts of the process was seeing the differences in our preferences such as the shade of white we each picked and the shape. Heimke really works hard to listen to your preferences and personalize your smile. So I'll tell you two things about her practice that are not subjective. First of all, the various forms of payment she accepts are posted on a window in the waiting room, so you know before you see her what she'll take for payment. I took a photo of that window and have posted it here to Yelp. Second, when I saw her about a problem I was having with an old cap and root canal done by my former dentist, she took the time to sit next to me and drew on some scrap paper to illustrate what was going on with that tooth so I could follow along with her explanation. My former dentist didn't do that and I found this extra step very helpful. One more thing about Emily - her employees love her. My husband is a chatty guy and got to talking with the staff during his first appointment at Emily's office. He was told that she bought the practice from another dentist who retired (not the same guy I saw for 20 years) and they really like her better than the previous guy! I don't think they knew George and Emily were book club buddies, and the compliments were totally unsolicited.

I've known her for a while now, and after needing her help as a dentist, discovered that her dentistry skills are super impressive, as is her thoughtfulness, professionalism and ability. Her staff has these same qualities, and overall, for my part, I'm her patient for life. I recently had a dental emergency where I lost a whole crown. Dr. Weitz got me in fast, took stock of things and got me set up with a temporary crown and told me I'd have a new one inside of a week! Not only that, and this impressed me a lot, I got a numbing injection in my gum...and didn't even feel it! Now that, folks, is talent! As I said, not only is Dr. Weitz great, but so is her staff; they were kind, thoughtful and very helpful and skilled as well. (The lady who helped to shape my new temp tooth was really amazing and fast.)
