I was also afraid to go in for a dental appointment due to the pandemic because I don't leave my house unless I have to. The staff are very friendly. and professional this office is very clean I'm impressed. Dr. Wallace is very personable, knowledgeable, and he made me feel very comfortable. He explains everything to me in full details. I had bad anxiety that day he helped calm me down. My first visit was very thorough I've never had a visit like that and it was great. The tech was good but the DR. really lacks some kind of bed side manner. I went in for a routine cleaning and by the time I left it had cost me over $500. First the cleaning, then some x-ray, then they wanted the DR. took look at a couple of teeth. Coming out of the exam room they had me scheduled for over $4000. worth of work, stating I needed two extractions. I called my regular dentist and got in to see them and was told the two teeth they were talking about are old but fine to stay in place for now. Looking for another periodontist!

Most people are unaware of EOB(explanation of benefits) and never compare what they should've paid (per insurance contracts) and what they did pay. My case is closed but I was advised that there is an ongoing investigation due to fraudulent practices and charges and it was suggested that I post this and let others know to contact dental board for all complaints.
