I live in rural Marion County. I have minimal internet capability. Since I couldn't upload my documents, the office staff cancelled my appointment that I had made 4 months previously, to be a new patient. (My dentist retired, I had been with him, with no problem, for 25 years!) I had called their office twice and explained it to them. I was told "no problem", just arrive early. After they had sent numerous text messages and email messages, they left a nasty phone message two days prior to my appointment and said they were going to cancel the appointment if I didn't complete all the requirements online. After many years...we have found "our" dentist! Instead of dreading going to the dentist....it's now an enjoyable experience.....From the minute I come in the office until I walk out...the experience has been 5 Star! My hygienist, Heather, is always on top of her game.... considerate, caring and very efficient...it doesn't hurt that she is a duck fan too....LOL and finally to Dr. Giruc...she is very efficient, patient and just very good at what she does! We love this dentist. Everyone is very welcoming and treats us like family. I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to be seen, and I'm never sore after a cleaning, even though they do a thorough job. Everyone is super friendly, and they never treat you like you're just a number. Bonus: with their location, you get to look out at the peaceful creek outside while you're in the chair. She demonstrates in-depth knowledge of dentistry and applies her knowledge and skills with the highest level of professionalism and the bedside (chairside) grace I wish my OHSU doctors would exabit. Best dentist- Ever. Dr. Giruc and her entire staff are amazing. We are a family of 6, with my husband and 4 sons (ages 6-17) all going there. My 6 year old loves to go, and they are so gentle with all of us. I had developed a fear of dentists as a child during youth orthodontic care, which was compounded by a bad root canal experience as an adult at another dentist. I would literally have a racing heart that felt like it would tear out of my chest! However, I am totally comfortable and at ease in Dr. Giruc's office and have zero anxiety about going to my appointments. The whole staff is very personable, friendly, and professional. read more

Amazing office all around! Dr. Giruc I've liked for a few years now. But recently when I had unexpectedly chipped a cap, the office didn't hesitate- told me to drive right over, now! They were busy but squeezed me right in. Not only did she resolve the surface-only chip (which I thought was far worse upon rushing in) but she guided me to a resolution to be sure nothing like that happened again from my night teeth grinding. Dr. Giruc is our favorite dentist! She is calm, funny, professional and competent. After checking our sons' teeth, she explains what's up. They feel very comfortable with her. When our insurance changed and we had to leave Dr. Giruc, we only stayed away as long as we had to: as SOON as our insurance switched again, we were right back to her! I had to change my insurance a couple of years ago and left my dentist I'd been going to for 35 years, who I really liked. Didn't really have a clue where to go to find a good one. Found that Dr. Giruc had good review on Google and my husband and I scheduled a visit. Wow, I didn't know what I was missing. Great staff, all very friendly and were great with my husband's fear of dentists. Dr Giruc is very thorough, extremely friendly and has a great sense of humor. I am so terribly upset and disappointed with my visit. I have been afraid of the dentist most of my life, but I have a painful cavity and felt I needed to be seen quickly. While my initial appointment was made within 2 days of calling, when I went into the office all that happened was I was looked at and made to wait a further week in pain to hopefully get my cavity actually fixed. And another 14 days before I can actually even get seen for an initial patient inspection and a cleaning. Do not come here first if you have an urgent issue, or you will be sorely disappointed as I am. read more

I have gone to many dentist's in my life, and I find that Dr. Giruc has the best delivery of anesthetic anywhere! I have never felt pain during any procedure. She knows what she is doing, her staff are competent and her hygienists are the best. For those of you who are concerned about pain, poor communication from the doctor, or lack of treatment options, you must visit Dr. Giruc. She even did a cancer scan in my mouth which I have never had done before. read more

Arrived 15 minutes early just in case some paperwork needed done. Sat in the waiting room for 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment (50 minutes total) with not even a word from staff that the Dentist was running behind. Finally after standing at the vacant front desk for another 5 minutes to tell them I was leaving a tech calls me and says she will get me prepped as the Dentist is running behind....no thanks, I'll find a dentist that has a measure of respect for my time. read more

This dentist office is the friendliest group of people you could ever hope to meet. I found myself instantly at ease with the wonderful view of the creek and the relaxed atmosphere. I noticed the office was very clean and the Dr. actually took time to listen to me and address my concerns. My teeth were fixed in hardly any time and I actually enjoyed my experience.
