Know before you go: 1) Oregon Humane Society is one of very…read morefew shelters that I have visited that supply ear plugs for visitors to use. May I suggest that you use them when entering dog adoption kennels. The kennels can get very noisy. 2) Meet and greet areas are available for you to get up close and personal with the dogs. 3) One of the keys to a successful dog adoption is finding one whose energy level matches your own. A high energy dog and medium to low energy owner is not a good match. 4) Basic obedience training is a very, very good thing. Believe me, you don't want to be the one chasing your happy-go-lucky dog down a busy street after it got loose! The recall command (come) can literally save your dog's life.

They can't recognize people who have certification that regards them as needing help aka the disabled. They lord over and talk down to you and insult you apparently think very highly of themselves and their political desires but we weren't political creatures we were real human beings and when you can't even bring yourself to help the very people certified to need help something is wrong. But we know what's wrong because we are living in it. Even "Willing to pay..." doesn't motivate a socialist to help or to get you in contact with something anything that CAN help THE PEOPLE who are certified as NEEDING HELP. SOMEONE HELP. And the problem is bigger than just pets. Try to guess.

If there were 10 starts I'd give them 10 stars, if you're looking for a DJ to not only make your…read morewedding memorable but make the planning EASY then please hire Apogee!! Jack was our DJ and he was incredible. Leading up to the wedding he was so chill, answered all of our questions, was so patient, worked with the venue to figure out the set up in advance, collaborated so well with our sax player, and during our actual wedding he made pivots whenever we asked him to. Even late night after our photographer left he captured some INCREDIBLE candid photos without us even knowing because he knew that there wouldn't be professional ones taken!! He went above and beyond. We actually found out about Apogee because we went to a family friend's wedding and they were the DJs which is how we found out about them. They're so kind, so responsive, offered so much guidance, etc. The DJ set up at the actual venue was understated and classy, Jack MC'd the event perfectly, we had a Photo Booth which was awesome.....they literally went above and beyond in every way. If you're needing a DJ, look no further -- you MUST HIRE Apogee!!!!!!!!!! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Apogee for making our wedding (and the planning leading up to it) so seamless and wonderful. Sarah and James

When I started looking for a company to DJ our wedding, I was told to look no further than Apogee…read more This company really has it together! Their online planning tool is simply AMAZING and I could tell this wasn't their first rodeo. Allen provided some of the best customer service I have ever received in answering some questions and providing support regarding a unique situation with our wedding, and I knew it go off without a hitch. I had the pleasure of speaking with our DJ, Greyson, the day before our wedding and I could already tell that he was an awesome fit for our group. Greyson kept us on schedule, worked fabulously with our guests, took care of some last minute changes AND taught us a few moves on the dance floor. The best part? He didn't lose any steam when 2/3 of our guests left well before the end of the reception. He kept the party going up until the minute we closed things down. Can't recommend this company enough and can't wait to work with them again.

The current Unit Forester in Prineville at the Oregon Department of Forestry as of 8/22/2020 fired…read moreme after I complained about his inappropriate behavior with me after a work function. They claimed I was "unwilling or unable" to perform my job duties--an outright lie. He could legally fire me for no reason because I didn't yet have my 1040 hours in this position due to job duty description discrepancies, although it was my fourth season dispatching with ODF. I was fired 1 week before the end of my season at 8 months pregnant, having never missed a single day of work due to the pregnancy. He also knew my husband was in a remote area at the time and unreachable by phone for several days. The timing was chosen to exact maximal emotional distress. I was excellent at my job and not only is it heartbreaking for me to lose my career, but also a disservice to my community desperately in need of trained, caring, competent staff. He and the newly appointed ODF assistant center manager wanted me to comply with orders completely against actual ODF and dispatch policy "just because I said so"--no rhyme or reason to it, blatantly against written policy and putting resources at risk in doing so. They are trying to run the agency like the military and heaven help you if you try to stick up for what is right--even what's written in the first page of the employee oath handbook--they'll just get rid of you. Never had a bad experience in my 17 year work history until this. I had excellent employee evaluations for previous three seasons from different supervisors. It's scary to speak out but I'm tired of being silenced. I would not recommend ANYONE work under him or the ODF assistant center manager, especially if you're a woman.
