I paid $80 for this session, which made no impact in the color or density of the tattoo at all. If it takes 18 sessions at $80 each session this would end up costing $1,440 to remove. It's a simple Chinese character. About 2" by 2". After I mentioned he missed areas he stopped talking to me. I have had tattoos removed in the past. Very unprofessional. I asked for a refund and he said no. I will be filing a complaint with licensing board. Not acceptable at all.

I'm not an expert, but from pictures on their website, it's a Palomar StarLux 500, which uses Intense Pulse Light or IPL, and is somewhat outdated (and relatively inexpensive) technology. With what was being charged for a year of sessions, I could pay for the machine myself. Overall, I felt pretty self conscious after my initial consultation and wondered if my presupposed budget was wildly off base. After talking to friends and other businesses, this is by far the most expensive package I could find, and it doesn't have the technology, results, or added value to merit the price.
