Exceptional Team…read more.. Sometimes dealing with "all things insurance", can be a frustrating experience. Not at the Ryan Torres State Farm office. The team of Ryan, Kyla, and Yvonne provide exceptional service. There is something tangible about this when it comes to protecting your home, auto, life, etc. I primarily work with Kayla (but the whole team has been interactive & supportive; including Ryan the owner agent) Kayla is responsive, attentive, insightful, and caring. These can be rare attributes; especially in the insurance segment. I trust the team at Ryan Torres State Farm. I'm confident in my coverage and protection, and know I can rely on them when needed. Finally, Transactional dealings...price shouldn't be the only factor when selecting insurance (see above), but is a key component to purchase behaviors . Ryan Torres State Farm was the lowest rate. I bundled my home & auto. I shopped the big five players in the space and State Farm beat everyone. I defined the coverage to assure an equal playing field. Same coverage for less cost... not to shabby!

Again my rating stands. For anyone reading this review now the dates are changing. During our…read morephone conversation I was told by the agent Ryan Torres that they called me in 2020 and that's all he saw? Now they have called me in 2019 and 2023. So I am sure they are just throwing out dates now. Also, he understands my frustration of having someone laugh as they hang up with you when you say you will give them bad reviews.

Anthony is literally the only person who fought for my less than perfect record. He got insured at…read more$300-$400 less PER MONTH than anyone else could and did it providing more coverage than anyone else could. Upfront: my driving record is crap, and Anthony busted his booty to not only get me insured, but do it at a rate that wasn't highway freaking robbery. Then, he went above and beyond and reduced my home owners insurance by $400 per month with higher coverage. AND got my bike insured for less Thant previous company that I had had for 10+ years. With all my blathering the bottom line is this: Anthony is a MIRACLE WORKER. He really cared about his job and taking care of people. It shows and is a rare quality. THANK YOU, A.H.!!

Definitely fraudulent…read more David Whorton talks the talk to get you to put pen to paper, but he neither cares for your well-being nor understands the intricacies of insurance. We had the misfortune of working with Whorton Insurance Services. When we sustained damage, we contacted Whorton for help. They lied about filing a claim on our behalf to stall the process, then proceeded to ignore all further attempts to reach them. Eventually, David came around just to notify me that the claim was denied, but failed to provide any documentation or reason for it. When pressed on the topic, he hung up the phone and blocked my number. I had to jump through a thousand hoops, but finally confirmed that David lied about actually filing the claim, and was just hoping we would go away. Long story short, it turns out they're not even licensed to practice in our state, and are now under investigation by several state and federal agencies. Insurance salesmen are sleazy by nature, but these are not people you want to do business with.

My car insurance (two cars, son 18 years old) was at $1,400.00 for six months. New policy, same coverage, well know company, reduced cost to me by $400.00. In the past I always shopped around for the best deal. With Lott I don't worry about it. The owner is a great guy and fully explains all the small print of the coverage.

Shelby and her team are extremely professional. Admittedly, I can need a bit more attention…read moresometimes because I want to be clear about things. One time, I was even impatient with Shelby when setting up the account, but she was very personable in return. (Moving can be so stressful/emotional). Kudos to her for the great advice she gave me regarding renter's insurance, landlord insurance, additional electronic insurance at a great price, and setting up auto pay, with emailed billing. She (and others in the office) are highly responsive, courteous and responsible individuals. It's no surprise she is still going strong in a competitive market such as Austin where the market is crazy. We should support small, local businesses where the leader is an extremely hard worker. Well done, Shelby!
