It's Sunday night in Brugge and after a long day at the nearby beach in Knokke; we realised that we had thoroughly underestimated the number of people who would be eating out that night. We called place after place only to find that they were booked, about to close, or not open at all. After stopping by De Stove (in the off chance that they might have a cancellation) we see a cute Italian place across the street.
By some miracle they have one table open, and it's outside! Our server was extremely helpful and attentive. I started with the prosciutto, feta, tomato and fig salad. It was fresh and tasty. For my main I had the catch of the day which was seabass. It came in a nice butter sauce and was served with a variety of cooked vegetables. It was surprisingly delicious. To finish I had the tiramisu which wasn't anything out of this world but it was moist and flavourful.
We enjoyed our food, really liked our wine, and thought the service was excellent. Worth the stop! read more
