Overall, working with Phuong was straightforward. After agreeing on an estimated cost, Phuong invited me to a secure portal to upload all of my documents. Alongside, Phuong provided a checklist to help guide all of the files/info that you should consider uploading. This was very efficient and helped expedite the process. From beginning to end, it took only a few weeks. It would've gone much faster, but I was delayed in uploading documents, so I caused the delay. Alongside, Phuong answered one-off questions as needed and quickly. And I had a lot of questions! But Phuong was always willing to help. The best part? Phuong confirmed I was actually owed a refund. After so many exchanged emails, they insisted on filing a form that did not represent the true nature of the facts. Even after so many conversations they still can't understand! Unfortunately I had to file and am now caught in a tax BURDEN that was totally undue. It'll cost me more money and time to correct what they filed. I had to practically chase Robert down on multiple occasions/channels (via text, cell, AND email....) to find out if he did my taxes and submitted them for me. He assured me that he submitted them for me electronically and would send me a confirmation. This was in early October 2020. I contacted him in late October 2020, no response. I contacted in him in November 2020, no response. I contacted him in December 2020, no response.... you see the pattern here. I followed up with the IRS and found that my taxes were NEVER submitted. Contacted Robert again... no response (are you surprised?). I ended up having to do my taxes myself (via TurboTax) in December 2020. It is now February 2021 and the IRS is still processing mail-in returns due to COVID delays. Basically, due to Robert's lack of communication and lack of accuracy my 2019 tax returns still have yet to be filed by the IRS. Thanks Robert!... Once again, if you were just open and honest from the start I could have had this all taken care of electronically and be done with it. To make a very long story short, Tim told me specifically he would "Take care of this" as in setting up the Installment plan. I signed the paperwork and THEN, He NEVER even sent the application in which I did not discover until months later. I did see some warning letters which I brought to his attention and then due to being busy as hell unintelligently trusted him remedy the situation. I say unintelligently because he also let me know he would "take care of" sending in a payment to affirm my LLC Status. A check which he held on to for 6 months and never sent in. Well, I have learned my lesson now and will always just call the IRS myself from now on to get the story straight. All I can say is NEVER trust T&D Taxes to "take care of" anything for you. I have never seen a business be in such denial and refusing to own up about a MAJOR mistake they made and I am seriously disgusted by this.
