They are skilled and resourceful in solving challenges that may come up in a project. Denilso serves as the project manager, electrician and liaison between their clients and work staff. His father, Ricardo is a very skilled contractor who does masonry, plumbing and electrical. They also have other family members and staff who specialize in all aspects of construction. They are not a design/build company, so no onsite designer or architect makes their prices very reasonable. I had some pretty complicated ideas for three of my bathrooms, which I drew out with photo examples. Denilso and Ricardo were able to remodel my bathrooms exactly as I planned and even came up with ideas to improve my plan. Ricardo and staff created a very complicated marble tile pattern I had drawn and suggested even more details that turned out beautiful. Denilso and Ricardo helped me come up with better lighting and venting. When I needed a threshold transition between my marble and wood floors and a new top for my laundry cabinet, they had their fabricators make them. They also had recommendations for things like a custom glass company. Their customer service is excellent, and they completed our project perfectly, within our budget and on time. I'd hire them again in a minute!

We had four bids on our concrete patio demo, haul away and new concrete patio and walkway. By far, Jim Elizalde was the one who listened to our concerns, and offered seasoned experienced insights into our design options that clearly indicated he was trying to deliver the best possible project to us. At each step of the way, Elizalde and his crew were organized, neat, and cleaned up well at the end of each day. His crew is amazing, and the most hard working gentlemen we have seen in a loooong time! Jim was great interacting with our multiple, very diligent homeowners' associations as well. He also told our neighbors to call right away, if they felt anything was amiss with his project. He kept in touch, letting us know the timing of various components of the project, and when we couldn't be there for a portion of the time, sent us photos with comments to keep us completely in the loop and informed. We are extremely pleased with the completed patio, and happy to recommend Elizalde Concrete to the next happy customer!

When you get bitten by the 'reno' bug or watch too much HGTV, you want to improve continuously!…read moreAfter our kitchen renovation 2 years ago, my husband and I bought a new small house/cottage that we knew would need updating. Knowing that we could hire Marius and his crew again, made the purchase of our new 'fixer upper' possible. We saved for two years and after a 4 month renovation, the final inspection was completed today! Marius' team of Vali and John did incredible work, once again! This time, the project was much bigger than a relatively simple kitchen make-over. We redid almost everything- New hardwood floors New kitchen with new cabinets, sink, back-splash, counter, the works Two new bathrooms with complete updates including new tile floors, new showers/tub, new fixtures, paint, lighting, etc. A new loft above our bedroom to create a reading nook A new walk-in closet to connect our bedroom and bathroom, resulting in a true 'master suite' The pictures tell the full story. Everything came in on budget and except for the Holiday break, Vali worked 6 days a week to complete the project on time, even though we added an extra project (loft) mid-way through construction. When you hire Marius Construction, know that what Marius does best is understand your vision, then put together a talented team of people to deliver. Marius doesn't need to be 'on site' every day, he knows his people (like Vali and John) will get things right and uphold his reputation as a General Contractor.
