Well, i recently became very ill and have been diagnosed with lupus and two blood disorders. My doctors here were curious if I had any previous symptoms. I wrote a letter to Dr Nemec asking him if he would be so kind as to check if he had the time. I told him I understood if he didn't because doctors are very busy and I haven't been a patient of his for some time. He sent me back the nicest letter! Checked what he could and said he is having more of my files checked. Just the fact he took a little look and took the time to write me a response made me very happy. I mean, who does that? A doctor with a good bedside manner, that's who.

Staff member was walking the parking lot, going in and out of the office. I expressed my concerns…read moreto the front desk and they advised me to ignore it. I advised she appeared to be sick, stumbling in parking lot and was carrying a yellow bag that staff told me was a regurgitation bag and she had neuropathy. The incident was downplayed by the staff and NP. I was told it was not serous and that it was not an issue that this person was walking hallways and coming passing patients in the hallway. After my visit I was to wait in the room for the lab tech. After 20 minutes I opened the door to find an ambulance stretcher blocking the door to the room I was in, I watched as the loaded the staff member and took her away. The NP was in the hallway, and I advised her I had not had my labs yet and needed to use the restroom. I was directed to the restroom. Upon my return I went back to the room, sure the lab tech would be in soon. 25 minutes later a staff member came into the room demanding to know why I was still there. I explained I has been waiting for over 45 minutes for my lab tests. An acting supervisor came in along with the NP and said let's get your lab test done. I expressed my concerns for the staff member and how I was treated, exposed to staff members unknown illness who left in an ambulance. I was told I was overreacting to a slight cough, I was mistaken in what I witnessed, that they were short staffed, and that this office did not have a manager due to frequent turnovers. Later when I checked my chart notes. The NP notes stated that I was upset that a staff member coughed, and I was only there for 50 minutes in total. It did not mention that the staff member left in an ambulance and that I was forgotten for over 45 minutes. I report this and a letter was sent saying it would be looked into, and I would be receiving a follow up. Several calls and 5 months have passed with no updates or corrections to my chart

I have been to this facility on a number of occasions when family and loved ones have been here…read more Everything is new, well thought out, clean, spacious, functional and intuitive to use or navigate. From the soft, peaceful and upbeat music that plays when you enter, the generous number of private bathrooms, private patient rooms, easy to read signs, friendly and caring staff, etc. - this entire facility is a Godsend! I wish the older Robinsdale facility were more like Maple Grove. I consider this facility to be a very strong "selling point" for anyone considering buying a new home in this area - Maple Grove, Rogers, Saint Michael or Albertville. My mother is currently staying here and is recovering from pneumonia. The staff in the Emergency Room were nothing short of awesome in getting her checked in, stabilized and properly diagnosed. A special thank you to Dr. Chris McCoy and Dr. McFadden for going out of his way to put my mother at ease on Thursday night and to the rest of the Emergency Room staff and Hospital staff for their support in getting my mother back on the road to wellness!

I've never dealt with Smiley before yesterday, and I will never deal with him again…read more I called with questions about medication that was prescribed to me at discharge from the hospital. I have a pretty rare medical condition, and information I found indicated that the medications prescribed could cause issues. And yes, I know there's a lot of false information online, which is Why I Called. I told him what happened to me and he basically called me a liar. I had a severe reaction to Zofran while the paramedics were working on me. My blood pressure, according to paramedics, was 80/40. I told him that and he said, verbatim, "No it wasn't." I told him the paramedics had to try 3 times to even get a blood pressure on me. He said, verbatim, "No they didn't." My husband was in the room when paramedics were there and saw/heard all of this. I told Smiley I was concerned because my condition is rare and some doctors aren't familiar with it. The doctors have told me this. Smiley said that wasn't true. He said that since the meds were prescribed in hospital there is no issue and I should just take them. So aside from giving me bad medical advice, he was rude and dismissive. I can't help but think that if I was a man I would have gotten better treatment. I don't know if Voyage records phone calls like some businesses do, but if they do I would highly recommend they listen to the call. That being said, everyone else at the Voyage clinic in Osseo are absolutely wonderful and I've gotten great care from them. Big shoutout to Mr. Horn and the rest of the staff.
