    N4. Pad See Ew Noodle
    Erika O.

I came here in a Thursday and was seated immediately. The interior is super cute, loved the decor. I got the pad see ew and it was delicious! It's a huge portion and the price is very reasonable. Great service too. You pay at the counter afterwards which is good to know bc we expected them to bring the bill. Great spot in the area for Thai food!

SO SO SO YUMMY!!! I love going to Sala Thai the food is always consistently delicious. The staff is kind and quick. The space is casual, cozy, and clean. This visit I ate Pad Thai w/chicken and shrimp no spice lol. Please do yourself a favor and eat half of your entree so you have room for dessert and cross those fingers that they haven't ran out of their sweet and creamy mango sticky rice

    Kow Soi Noodle
    Eileen S.

3.5 stars. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. I like the boat noodles more than the Kow Soi. The beef slices were very tender and I like the broth. The level 3 spice for the Kow Soi is not spicy at all. I probably need to try more dishes to give a fair rating of this place.

Sala thai fried rice, pad see ew, and cucumber salad
    Katie L.

Fried rice was delicious, loved the tomatoes, but the pad see ew had a little too much fish sauce. The service was friendly and it was super clean. I like how you walk up to the counter to pay whenever you're done, so you don't feel rushed.

    Pad Thai & chicken larb

Restaurant was clean but they were understaffed. There was no lime or crushed peanuts served w pad Thai. The larb salad was also not limey. But it's a great place to grab its lunch specials.

    Lunch special $10.95
    Callie G.

Sincerely one of the best lunch specials in town. For $10.95 you get 2 mini entrees, a curry, a spring roll, and a mini salad. Each portion of the meal was individually tasty. I have always gotten food to go here- but don't sleep on the lunch special!!

My fave Thai spot in OKC. Very fresh, outstanding service & decent prices. LOVE the Larb, never mushy like some places.

What time does their buffet open and close?

I don't think they offer a buffet but they do have daily specials posted on a board by the cash register.

I guess maybe that's the problem, my age addled mind thought this review had been made. Either way we're here now! Top marks for this original Panang Thai restaurant. Service is always top notch and the food is no less. Always fast service whether you're dining in or taking out. Today's meal was a GrubHub special since I'm in the office and didn't want to get out of my flow state to pick up food. The order arrived hot and fresh. An order of Tom-Yum Shrimp because it's soup season with a side of spring rolls. So very good while I'm typing away on my dissertation. Of course the ambiance in my office is good but the restaurant has a great atmosphere as well.

Whether enjoying a meal in person or grabbing it to-go, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Whenever my friends and I visit, we love ordering family-style so we can try a bit of everything. Our go-to spread usually includes the tom yum soup, papaya salad, a mix of drunken noodles, pad see ew, and pad thai, plus green, yellow, or red curry, and a Thai tea and mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything is always delicious, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned, it's a place we genuinely look forward to coming back to every time.

Don't know why they don't just converge their menus and open up the space. Service was great, friendly and efficient. Only one guy was working front of the house, so he was busy with the tables and the to-go orders. We only got water to drink, but all their drinks come in these cut mason jars. The E-San Sausage was delicious. It came with a side of cabbage and some pickled ginger that helps cut through the grease. The Crispy Pork Kai-Lan was just okay, not any different from other beef & broccoli dishes elsewhere. The Mango Sticky Rice was so good! The sticky rice was just rice on the stickiness, and the mango was very sweet.

The service is incredibly fast and attentive, which made the experience even better. I've ordered so much takeout from this place that I feel like I've tried nearly everything on the menu, and here are my top recommendations. Also, this place has hands down the best Khao Soi in town! Appetizers -Grilled Pork (Moo Ping) -- Juicy, tender, and flavorful. -Fried Angel Chicken Wing -- Super crispy with a tasty marinade. -Chicken or Pork Pot Stickers -- Great starter; crispy outside, juicy inside. -Shumai -- Light, flavorful, and always cooked just right. Salad -Yum Woon Sen Seafood -- Fresh, tangy, with just the right amount of heat. -Papaya Salad with Dried Shrimp -- The perfect summer salad! I usually ask for extra Thai chilies and lime for that spicy, zesty kick. Main Dishes -Thai Chicken Rice (Kao Mun Gai) -- The best chicken rice ever -- simple but comforting. -Fried Chicken Rice -- Like Kao Mun Gai, but with crispy fried chicken instead of steamed -- so satisfying. Thai Basil Stir-Fried Pork: You can get it with ground or crispy pork; both are amazing. -Crispy Pork Stir-Fried Kai-Lan -- Just as good as the basil pork, a perfect balance of savory and crunchy. -Thai Garlic Pork (Moo Gra Tiem) -- Fragrant, garlicky, always hits the spot. Curry Chicken Noodles (Khao Soi) is my absolute favorite dish here. They're creamy, rich, and flavorful. The chicken portion (thigh/breast) is huge, too! -Roasted Duck Noodle Soup -- Comforting, with tender duck and a rich, savory broth. -Tom Yum Noodle Soup -- Spicy, sour, and so warming, packed with flavor. Desserts / Drinks -Thai Tea -- Sweet, creamy, and the perfect way to cool down. -Mango Sticky Rice -- A classic done right, fresh mango, sticky rice, and just the right amount of coconut sauce. This spot and Panang (next door) have easily become one of my all-time favorite Thai restaurants. The food is always consistently delicious, the portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the value is unbeatable. It never lets me down, whether dining in or grabbing takeout!

As I recall from years ago, they had a buffet line, but it is now gone. They have daily lunch specials (seeds photo), but we ordered off the regular menu which is quite extensive. I ordered (T2) Thai Chicken Cashew. It came with steamed rice. I enjoyed it. It was flavorful and prepared and presented differently from chicken cashew I've had at other asian restrauants as it came in a bowl with broth. I'm used to chicken cashew being plated. I requested medium spiciness but it came very mild. I would order it again. Jan ordered (NO10) Kui Teo Tom Yum with mild spiciness. It came with medium spiciness. They may have got our spiciness requests reversed. She enjoyed it. It was hardy, flavorful, and served in a large bowl. It was enough for two. The restrauant is ordinary, uninspired, and lacks imagination. The table spacing is so far apart it seems odd. The service was good. The prices were $13.95 and $13.75 for the two dishes.
