The salon is really well places on Norton High Street, with plenty of free parking within walking distance. The salon is set over two floors; cutting and styling downstairs and colouring upstairs. The staff were so friendly; they really couldn't do enough for you. As soon as I sat down i was given a full consultation, and shown various colours for my hair, as well as asked about the cut I wanted. They even have a little coffee menu; the coffee was included in the price. I was even asked if I'd like an Indian Head Massage! They had all the best products in stock, i.e. Tigi, and you could but these products downstairs. I will definitely be using this salon again; my hair looked lovely when they'd finished with it and the service was second to none. I'm guessing that it's quite expensive; my friend paid for my hairdo so I'm not sure how much it cost! However i have never had such excellent service anywhere else and my hair has never looked so good so it would be worth the price!

He washes, cuts and dries your hair (you get a mug of coffee if you are lucky also!). Attentive, unlike other places I can mention (and have mentioned in other reviews). He will do exactly as you ask but will also tell you if something doesn't suit/you'd look stupid He has a hardcore of regular clientele who've gone there for years and there's always a friendly atmosphere there. You can even get your nails done, or have a waxing in the ladies salon. The staff members are all well trained, friendly and polite, and they actually listen to what you want to have done (unlike some hairdressers I have been to where they do what they want to you). The only slight downfall is that only the mens salon has the capability to take cards, so you have to wait whilst they dash over the road to get the credit card machine. Still, as that is the only complaint you can level against it then it isn't bad. Guido's it is very reasonably priced for all of their services, and if you are a student you get a discount (always a good thing in a University town).
