Sushi was good, but it was expensive. Wait for order was slow and so were the servers. Was a little disappointed. Went for the all you can eat lunch special with girlfriends. One brought her autistic son. 1/2 through the meal he got loud and needed his head phones and and then he got loud. We had already put our 2 round order in and had to wait a while for the server/food to come. Before he could disrupt the other customers further, we decided it was best to leave. When the owner has to come in walking around in crocs and sweat pants serving tables because the servers are so confused and unprofessional that they resort to arguing and yelling at each-other in front of customers you can already tell it was extremely poor planning. To top it off they forgot to give us stuff we ordered like miso soup, salad, and a sushi roll, but after 2 and a half hours of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed and poor food we were done. This is a new place in town That I have been too once. Again like my other posts I'm not a sushi person but I did get the pork belly along with the edemamies and gyozas- they were all very good. The pork belly melted in your mouth it was so tender. The past few weeks I have been ordering to go edemamies and rice for lunch and they're very quick service and friendly staff are always very welcoming when I come in for pick up. Had lunch here on Sunday May 27, my first visit. Place was empty when we arrived, no other customers. And yet customers that came in after us had their orders taken first. Sake Sushi is the best sushi restaurant in Lompoc! The seafood was fresh and the quality of the sashimi was amazing. I ordered the Salmon and Tuna Poke Bowl. My order took a little longer than expected, the owner was gracious enough to apologize to me in person, and the chef made me a special appetizer until my main course was ready. The fish is delicious, salad is tasty, appetizers are amazing, and the miso soup was great! The food is also a great price! The ambiance and environment is romantic, sheek, and fun. They had the NBA Playoffs playing on multiple big screens and they had an exceptional music playlist playing in the background. Lastly, the customer service is excellent! Sake Sushi is good for their Korean food. Not great, just good. Pho is not the best. You have to go down the street to Suvan's for that. Their unagi bowl is so good though! I get that almost everytime. Their sushi is not what I go there for either. Went on Christmas day without too many expectations, but I was blown away. First and foremost, you walk in and the place is very spacious and clean. Decorations create an authentic vibe to the entire restaurant. The menu was very easy to read and provided high quality pictures for various items as well as accurate description. The pictures made the food look amazing, was skeptical at first because there aren't too many good sushi places because I was spoiled in socal. Food arrived and it looked and tastes absolutely amazing. Sushi and sashimi tastes fresh and was beautifully decorated. The staff provided great service and always had a smile. I gave up on Sake after constantly having my order forgotten, getting the wrong order (Everytime), and multiple wait staff asking me my order several times because tables aren't assigned to one server so it's everyone doing everything. Came here for the first time during their grand opening in the middle of the day. It was fairly slow, maybe only 4 other tables were filled. The interior is really nice with one tv on the far wall above the sushi bar. The menu is big and I was happy with what I ordered, and so was who I came with. They don't bring you ginger or wasabi like most sushi places but I'm sure I could have asked & received some had I wanted to. Remarkably good sushi for a small town. Everything I tried was very fresh and excellent quality. The sushi chef who served me at the sushi bar alerted me if a particular item I inquired about had previously been frozen, rather than being fresh. I didn't try any of their speciality rolls, but those that I saw being prepared looked great and I will likely try some of those on my next visit. My only gripe was that the sushi rolls and other dishes being prepared for the rest of the restaurant were constantly being staged on top of the seafood case in front of me at the sushi bar before being picked up by the servers to take to various tables. That adversely impacted my dining experience, but I should be able to minimize that issue the next time by asking to sit in a different part of the sushi bar. Based upon my overall great experience I am certain that I will go back and look forward to trying more of the offerings on their menu. read more

Very disappointed with the service I received today. I ordered from DoorDash with specific instructions for deliver that were not followed. When I ordered my food I asked for some extra condiments. The order arrived and the number one item with any sushi order (soy sauce) was not in the bag even after asking for extra. After contacting the restaurant I was advised to call DoorDash even though this was a mistake on their part as they forgot to include it in my order. Stopped by this place in Lompoc for the first time on the way to drop my sister off at UCSB (about an hour away). We had a party of 5 for dinner and ordered the Alaskan Roll, Sexy Girl Roll, Play Boy Roll, Beef Bulgogi, Beef Bibimbap, and Kimchi Beef Spicy Tofu Stew, and a bottle of wine. I ordered here 5-6 times since I been in town for business. It's located close to my hotel. I'm very upset because the last two times I gave them a chance after the last time my sushi had a rotten taste do to bad avocado. I'm not sure why it also didn't taste fresh. I told my fiancé that mine hade stale prices of rice and why did it taste like the middle inside had been prepared prior too and then they just at the shrimp and avocado on top. I've tried the sexy girl, tiger roll, and shrimp killer role and monkey balls. Monkey balls were good except when you order take out and they tell you 20-30 min and you get there at 20 minutes and have to wait a few extra minutes only to get your monkey balls and their cold! The food was obviously ready way before I arrived. The last time I ordered from here I got the shrimp killer and let them know to add fresh avocado and they did but they messed up still because my sushi was hard and steak didn't taste fresh! Many people that showed up after us got served before us and left before us. It wasnt even that busy. So after seeing all these rolls go past the bar, thinking it was ours, they went to all the other tables. We finally got our food and it was sub par. When I asked for the check the man was nice and gave us a free dessert. I think he knew they messed up, regardless of us not mentioning anything. I will not be coming back.
