Stopped in for dinner with my family we ordered sushi bbq beef and bulgogi . The atmosphere is nice. I do not understand why the entrance was set up around the corner on the side of the building. We entered and were seated in the front corner of the restaurant. We ordered the rangoons and pork and vegetable dumplings to start. They were good tasty. The sushi we ordered came on one platter we shared they were good seemed fresh did not fall apart when picked up. We also ordered veg fried rice . Overall was a nice evening. New Asian restaurant in Newport! The wait staff were so friendly and fast. They were able to get us seated right away. The vibe is very small, warm, and cozy. I loved sitting next to the big windows to look outside. The sushi was excellent. I can't wait to go back and enjoy more. We also loved the Korean corndog. I've never had one before and we got the one with potato and cheese. The Korean beef was very sweet. My only complaint was the fried rice - it had no flavor and it was very dry. Stopped in midday for lunch since I was in the area. We got a couple sushi rolls and 2 of the bento boxes. Everything came out pretty fast and service was friendly. The restaurant is big with lots of seating and a full bar. We ordered the UK Wildcat and Serpentine rolls with some nigiris. For the bento boxes, we got one with galbi beef and the other with spicy pork. The bentos came with rice, salad, kimchi and a friend dumpling in sauce. We were stuffed leaving!! Mr Park opened this new branch in Newport! As soon as we heard about it, we came here on a Saturday night. The decoration is nice, modern but has a bit of Asian elements. The seating area is doubled the size in Crestview area! Parking is a bit challenge compared to with the other one due to location i guess. But there are two 5 dollar parking lot available just nearby or you can find street parking! Food is great as always! Service is friendly, Thomas is very nice! And Mr Park's baby girl is there too. The wait staff was friendly and quick. We ordered the Hotstone Bibim Bap (with Beef) and 3 sushi rolls (Spicy Tuna, Godzilla, and Serpentine). The hotstone had very generous portion, lots of veggies (the way i like it) and overall good taste. The spicy gochujang sauce was nice and the hotstone gives the rice some nice crunch! Amazing service and food. We went on a Tuesday night before seeing a show at the Southgate church revival. We were seated right away. We were able to put in our order and get our food fairly quick. The miso soup was quick and delicious. The spring rolls were spot on with a yummy sauce. Our sushi rolls were tasty and well worth the price. I had the Cincinnati and my husband had the Air Force and one other I can't recall the name of. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any sushi. I saw people with the hot bowl and ramen. I will definitely have to go back to experience those menu items! All the servers were super attentive and friendly. We usually eat here once a week or once every 2 weeks. I have celiac disease and have never had a problem eating here, we recently ordered here and asked for my sushi to be boxed seperately like we do every time and requested on the ticket like always. This time they put it in the same box as my wife's and therefore contaminating my food. We walked back in and asked for just mine to be remade so they were not contaminated. The staff was extremely rude and told us they don't offer that option. After going back and forth for way more time than needed the food was finally remade. While waiting for the order the same guy was extremely rude to another customer as well. As people who loved coming here after today we will not be back! read more

Food was good, especially the Beef Bulgogi, although too heavy on the onions. Wish it was served in a way that we could have enjoyed the sauce more, instead of a small shallow flat dish. Service was pretty good, but we had to wait and ask for forks and knives. Ambiance in most of the restaurant was nice, except the back entry (front main door was unusable, not sure why? ) So back (only) entry had bus cart with tubs of dirty dishes, stacks of containers and stuff for takeout. Our table and several others were near this takeout and server station and it just wasn't at all as nice as the rest of the place. Kudos for all the community donations! read more
