You go online and choose what bin size you want for your family, and how often you want it. For my family we get the small produce bin every other week and it is more than enough food. The absolute BEST part is you are allowed to customize what comes in your bin. You bin comes with whatever is in season, but let's say you're not a huge fan of broccoli. You can switch out the broccoli for any other item in the drop down produce menu. At the store I go for one thing, and end up spending so much more than I wanted. This way it saves me time and money. Also I feel more in control and aware of what I'm eating. Since I personally order 2 or 3 oranges I can control how many I want (unlike the grocery store) so the rest of the bag won't go bad. We started a few months ago and now we have it down to a science. We are eating healthier, and my stress levels have gone WAY downhill. We take a trip to Findlay for some meat, and the rest of the week we get creative and try to use the seasonal ingredients in a fun and new way together. If you're like me, you're trying to eat healthier and more organic, working on avoiding processed foods, and you HATE grocery shopping. Well guess what?! Green Bean Delivery is your savior! I've been using their services for about 2 months now, and I don't think I'll be stopping any time soon. You can choose how often your delivery comes, so I receive mine every 2 weeks. Each time you are due for a new bin you get to go in and customize what you receive. On top of all the wonderful, fresh, organic produce, I've also been getting meats (free-range, grass-fed, etc.), fresh eggs, organic milk, and some great bread! It's amazing to me how affordable everything is, and delivery is even free! They automatically put things in your bin, but you are welcome to add/remove when you customize - the fun part for me is getting things I've never made before and experimenting with new recipes. We tried Green B.E.A.N Delivery and ended up cancelling our account. I would recommend it as a great way to get fresh produce delivered to your home (or office), but you have to be really committed. This means logging onto their website every week and making tweaks to your shipment. Other wise, you may end up with four pounds of radishes that you don't know what to do with. This problem caused a lot of waste for me. You also need to be home on the day that your food gets delivered, which can create a problem for people with erratic work schedules. You also will need to supplement the deliveries by getting other food at the grocery store or farmer's market. Additionally, don't expect the food to be local. To give an example, we got blueberries from Michigan in our bin one week. That's not exactly the neighborhood farmer. I understand that they need to freeze the meat to keep it from going bad in case you don't pop it in your fridge right away, but I'd rather make the short trip to Findlay market to get a fresh, ready to bake chicken. Well, these are all just my opinions. At the end of the day, the delivery system might work for you. I'll admit, it's an interesting culinary challenge to have new foods show up at your door every week, but it's just not a viable solution for my family. read more

Green Bean is very customer service oriented, in addition to having a very impressive selection of local and organic foods. Farm pastured meats and eggs, and local cheeses, in addition to the produce, which is local when possible, though of course many things aren't grown in the midwest and do come from elsewhere. Every once in a while something was left out of my bin, or, a box of berries was already moldy, and, they credit the customer when you notify them about any problems. It's Wednesday! And Wednesday is bin day! Over the past year, a combination of reading a ton of books about food, trying to help the boy lose some weight, and working with a bunch of food-minded people have all encouraged me to start trying to shop more locally, conscientiously, and sustainably. And for a girl from California, where people are pretty eco-savvy and the weather is amenable to year-round harvests, this proved to be a bit of a challenge, not to mention throwing in the grad student budget. Going to "Whole Paycheck" got to be expensive, plus I realized I was still often being sold "conventional" products at "organic" prices. And with only the two of us, the thought of buying into a full CSA was a bit daunting. So when someone on Yelp Columbus recommended Green Bean Delivery, I was all over it. I just got my third bin today, stuffed with fruit and vegetables and a block of frozen bison. Although I'm spending about $80 a month on this, I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off or overpaying. The produce is always in great condition; the mushrooms in particular are fantastic. The kale in our first batch was quite buggy, but I guess that's just the way it goes when you don't use pesticides. Most of the produce I have gotten so far isn't particularly local, though I hope to see that change as the season continues and we are actually able to harvest local crops. read more

Just received my first delivery from Green Bean Delivery, and I am extremely satisfied! They have exceeded my expectations! We are a family of 3, 2 adults and a 4 year old. The packing was great and everything was neatly sorted. All of my fruits and veggies seem perfectly ripe! I think I probably spent around what I would have if going to Krogers, it's also nice to know we are supporting locals in the process! Also, I didn't have to drag my toddler out, dig through the produce section to find ripe produce, which is extremely nice! The one and only thing I would change, is a delivery confirmation text or email, and an eta email or text message. With that being said, I emailed customer service and asked them what my delivery eta was, and they got back to me within a minute and were within an hour proximity of what they said my eta was. It's official: I've been suckered in by Green B.E.A.N. Delivery. It's a year-round grocery delivery service that hooks people up with local & sustainable food. I started in the winter months, so am getting some goods from farther away, but am looking forward to see what the local growing months bring! I set our delivery for every other week, and every time I get my bin, it feels a little like Christmas. We are currently getting the $35 bin, which comes loaded with organic veggies and fruits that so far has lasted me about two weeks. You can substitute items once they send you the delivery invoice, but I really like the fact that I am forced to try different recipes based on the veggies I get. For example: fresh beets= awesome. Stir-fried beet greens = awesomer. For the quality, the cause, and for the fact that I have a little less shopping to do, I love this service. Try it, I dare you! read more

I absolutely love this service! For a bit of background, I live in a downtown area with very few organic produce options, so Green Bean is a saviour to me. (I also don't really like to grocery shop.) They are always on time in their deliveries, decently priced, and have a lot of great produce options. One of the distinct advantages of this service is they offer a lot of other groceries besides just produce unlike some of the other Famer's Boxes I've tried. Another key reason I've stuck with using them is that their website design is clear and simple to use, and they send me a reminder email whenever I need to customize my box. All items have arrived undamaged, and taste great! Lastly, by not having to go to the grocery store, I am saving time and money because I don't end up buying things I don't really need by browsing. Since a lot of the other reviews on here have focused on the quality and overall great value of the produce from green b.e.a.n here I'm not going to spend much time on that, even though I totally agree. What I really want to talk about is how freaking nice they are!!!!There has been a time or two some of my produce has been a bit moldy (very common with organic things) all I had to do was call and they added more to my bin the next week. I recently had a problem with my credit card and they were not able to run it through. They worked with me to resolve it and my food delivery went uninterrupted- that isn't something that happens everyday. Not only do you not have to deal with the chore of going to a grocery store and all the irritating drama that can be a part of a trip. But these people show what great customer service and a respect for loyality is all about. Finally they have started a program where you can just throw some canned goods in your bin and they wiil take them to the local food bank. How cool is that? We've used Green BEAN for roughly a year and have been quite happy with it. We love the idea of supporting regional & organic farmers, while also encouraging ourselves to eat healthier and cook more. The delivery aspect is nice too, but realistically it does not eliminate our need to shop at a more conventional store like Kroger, because I still need certain food and drink items that Green BEAN doesn't offer (for example, Gatorade). Other thoughts: - We live in the Tues delivery zone, which is great. Based on our dining habits (of cooking during the work-week and going out on weekends), early-in-the-week deliveries are ideal. Not sure how we'd feel about late-in-the-week or mid-week deliveries. - Some items (such as avocados) are delivered before reaching ripeness, which initially bothered me (because I want to eat them right away!) but I recognize it's actually probably wiser this way (because then things won't spoil). - Customer service is great. I've contacted them for all sorts of things (a missing lime, an order that I meant to cancel but forgot to, etc.) and they've responded very quickly and always in a friendly, helpful manner. - The price/value seems right to me. I'm not even sure that it's really more expensive than buying the same items in a grocery store... but if it is, then the convenience of having it delivered right to my door (not to mention, again, supporting regional farmers and businesses) is worth a small premium. - The bins have always been clean and well cared for. - The website (updated mid 2014) is SO great. Visually pleasing and easy to use (for scheduling deliveries, modifying your bin, etc.). What would I change? Well, I'd like them to put chicken drumsticks back as an option. And I'd love a basic "cheatsheet" of what's going to be in season each month, so I can think about that as I'm ordering. In all, I think this is a great service, and if you're the type of person/family that's interested, there's no reason not to try it. My husband and I are "lite" users now (and do cancel/push back deliveries sometimes when we're traveling or just know we're not going to cook as much one week) but I can imagine our usage growing with time (and kids). read more

I am unsure why one reviewer stated that you had to be home for your delivery. I live in a condo and my bin is always waiting for me when I come home from work right at the entrance. I got home early from work one day and the nice delivery guy brought it all the way inside my actual condo (frankly, he could have hung out for awhile with me!). I am also unsure why another reviewer said it was daunting to look over your order. It takes me about ten minutes to log on and then pick and choose the items I do or don't want for the week. I get a nice email reminder to do so - I probably would forget otherwise considering I only get an order every other week. I am the most under committed person, so if I can handle it anyone can! My only challenge is eating all the food before it spoils, but as another reviewer stated, I like to share the wealth of my healthy food. I love trying local foods, especially the delicious homemade bread. This review was a long time coming. My co-worker and I were just raving to our manager about how much we love Green BEAN!! I had service from Green BEAN for about a year an a half (when they were still Farm Fresh Delivery), stopped for a year or two due to heavy weekly travel and just recently requested my account to be re-activated. Let me first say, and this is really important, Green BEAN has top notch customer service. Any issue, question, odd request, they kindly help with. They will suspend your account when you need, pick up empty bins you have collected (in case you forget to leave it out!), and when I had to cancel my service, it was no problem! I even remember the delivery drivers being so friendly, I always felt that they must enjoy their job. Another important point, the produce is GREAT! Additionally, They let you know whether your food is local or not. Much appreciated! The way it works is that you have a standing order that comes every 1-2 weeks based on your chosen frequency. Before each delivery, you have the chance to cancel or customize your order. I love the customization feature, it lets you change out anything in your standard bin for other possible produce. At times, I would leave the box with no changes, taking my chance on finding some fun surprises, but other times, I'd know that I'd want certain vegetables or fruits and would make sure to swap out to accommodate. They generally have a good selection of possible swap-in produce. Green BEAN also has grocery items and I used to have my Soy milk delivered as well as some other snacks. I've heard that some of their vegetarian burgers are delicious! As well, everything is always packed excellently and even if I was a few hours late from work, everything was still chilled. They use a combination of reflective insulation as well as cool/ice packs to achieve several hours of preservation in your box outside. The delivery drivers also try to put the box in a good, shady place if they can find it near your door. All in all, a wonderful experience that I am so excited to get back to! I will admit - I was skeptical. My friends were so excited about the fruit and veggie delivery. Green B.E.A.N really is all that and then some. The produce is ultra fresh, first rate quality and some of the best I have seen. It is different than my CSA, which is grown right up the road, but then I am getting oranges that are so fresh my kids and husband cannot stop eating them. Lemons that are fantastic. Mushroom, which are perfect and salad that is so crisp and delicious. I like that I can add other groceries to my order and enjoy a variety of meats and other items. The one thing I wish - was that more of the meats, like the brats had more detailed ingredient lists. I have a number of food allergies and would love to try some local sausages, but with no ingredients listed - that is just not possible. The reminders and the newsletter via email is fantastic. I haven't forgotten the bin yet... We get the every other week delivery and that has been just enough for us. I suspect with the CSA and the local farmers markets and Green BEAN I may be able to skip the grocery all together this summer. read more

I absolutely love the drivers at Green Bean. I love the freshness of the food as well. Our bin runs around 80 to 90 bucks and we get enough food for almost 8-10 days between two people. Love that you can get fresh local meat! Our bin is always in a good spot where it's not stolen and our driver often calls to ensure that's where we want it. The drivers are so very nice. The reason why I am neutral over Green Bean is because I'm concerned of their work conditions for their drivers. Based on what I've seen from the drivers I have to wonder what's happening behind the scenes. Why are the drivers delivering so late? This is so dangerous for them! I'd much rather have my delivery being between business hours. Sometimes it can be alarming to get a delivery at 9 pm. Why do they do this to their drivers? It doesn't seem safe, having them carry heavy bins in the dark over unfamiliar yards and driveways. Finally, I was shocked when they delivered in very dangerous snow conditions. The vans are obviously not four wheel drive. It seems they place the face of their company (ie the drivers) in excessive danger. This had made me reconsider being a customer. I buy fair trade and believe in fair work practices. I'm not so sure Green Bean practices what it preaches. Why would Green Bean management not allow their drivers to skip a week and make up the delivery in the following week instead of risking their drivers' lives? Wouldn't it be better to have the bins ready so they can deliver between 8-5 and be safer? Also why can't they provide better equipment to the drivers in the winter? read more

I've been subscribing to Green Bean Delivery for 3 years now. The first year, there were @4 hiccups with missing or incorrect items. Each time I contacted customer service, the issue was corrected promptly with no hassles (option of refund or item being redelivered in next bin). I even got an apology note in a couple of my bins after this happened. That's great customer service! I get us the fruit, vegetable, & grocery bin. It is $35 minimum every other week. We typically spend $40-45 on our orders by adding a few things. The week prior to my delivery, I receive an email with the default items for the bin and then I can adjust the selection by removing items, adding different ones, or changing quantities to customize it for our tastes. Items arrive to your house in an insulated, reusable bin with a reusable ice pack. You leave these out for collection on your next delivery day. I love that all of the items are very fresh and they take care to offer mostly organic, sustainably grown, and/or locally grown produce. We enjoy the variety they offer and the convenience of the delivery. This worked out to be about the same price as a CSA we used to participate in. We decided to go with Green Bean as the CSA hours really conflicted with our work schedules. BTW, I work very close to a Whole Foods but rarely buy vegetables there anymore. I became disappointed with their produce selection moving heavily towards conventional offerings. Why bother when you can get actual organics from Green Bean? Their prices are fairly reasonable on produce, Seven Hills Coffee (yay!), organic/grass-fed meats, and sale items. I think their dairy tends to run a bit high. That's about my only complaint. Yes, these items are frequently higher-priced than conventional items but you get quality in return. The taste also shines in these products. (Also - I found that I have no upper respiratory reactions to organic dairy unlike their conventional counterparts.) I have also discovered several new vegetable varieties this way and it's fun to experiment with them. My husband loves the bin and looks forward to seeing what I pick out each time. I love this grocery delivery service. You have the advantage of getting fresh dairy and produce from local farms, but you get to customize your bins every week to get what you want. If you feel like you don't want the box that week, it is easy to go online and suspend the order. Green BEAN has always been fantastic about responding to any issues with prompt reimbursement. I've received 2 shipments from Green BEAN delivery (I originally signed up for the every other week small box). I have been extremely satisfied with both the quantity and appearance of the food. When I received my first delivery, I half expected to see browning/ wilted veggies and small portions of everything else. I was wrong- I def got my $35 worth and everything looked amazing (fresh, cold, perfectly ripe). I already switched my delivery from biweekly to every week. I found it's also useful in budgeting- now I don't run to the grocery store and buy more than I can eat in a week, which leads to wasting of produce. My only complaint is that, for the non-produce items, you can't view the food label prior to purchasing and some of the meats (ground turkey) don't come with a label. I love the concept of Green B.E.A.N. Delivery. Every item I have ever received has been of fabulous quality. It is a great opportunity to try fruits and veggies that you normally would not otherwise. Customer service was always friendly and helpful. If you choose to subscribe to the service, here are a few notes: 1. I have found the majority of fruits and veggies have not been local. The website will tell you the origin and growing method. If you are looking for more local food, I would suggest a CSA. 2. If you live in a gated or locked building, delivery can a bit of a hassle. My deliveries always came at nearly 8pm on Fridays. My property manager was not there to accept delivery, and I was away doing Friday night activities. I had to take the chance that my bin could be stolen. Ask about the delivery schedule if this could be a concern for you. 3. You may not always receive what you perceive to be $35 of delivered groceries. I found the exact same organic collard greens at Kroger that Green B.E.A.N. offered. They were from California. I would have preferred that pricing of items be disclosed and a delivery/service fee tacked on. I would then feel more confident that I was getting a fair price. read more

We have been getting Green Bean delivery for over a year or so. I have been very happy with our service. Fresh organic fruits and veggies to your door. I don't have to run to the grocery all the time. I get a few grocery items to like milk and eggs. They send you a email letting you know what is coming in your bin so you can change it how you want. I can cancel a delivery that week of I want to. Right now we get a Small fruit and veggie bin and add groceries. I hope they get more items to try over time. Never really had any issues with our delivery. If you love organic food and like the idea of not always going to the store for it, I really recommend it. Green Bean Delivery is the real deal. I took the jump and decided to try this new form of grocery shopping - wow, what have I been doing all this time? Given their minimum order price for a weekly shipment, the value of convenience, freshness of the product, and customer service is just phenomenal. No, really - everyone says it, but it has to be said again - the customer experience is simply out of this world (shout out to Nick and many others). They answer you're questions, accommodate your schedule, and seem genuinely happy to be serving the Cincinnati community. They'll go above and beyond to make sure your individual experience is the best - that's the mark of a great company. Green Bean delivery was actually the jumping off point for a personal goal to start eating healthier. So now each week is a game - I get a bunch of delicious, fresh produce and have to figure out how to get through it in a week. Stir fry, salads, smoothies, and experimentation galore - everything gets worked into my diet. I love it and I'm eating healthier and feeling a lot better about myself, without really feeling like I'm trying. I really appreciate the variety, getting to try new things is very exciting. It's always a fun surprise to see next week's delivery (which you can change at will) and think "Huh, what's that?". New types of fruits and different varieties of the classics. Unique vegetables and crazy colors (purple potatoes!). If you're not feeling as adventurous or have specific recipe plans, you can always change your shipment to accommodate what you need. My first order, bananas were completely green, I thought, Ok..just an oversight. Second order, sent me outdated bread, one 5.00 loaf and one 6.00 loaf and milk that had and expiration date of 3 days ahead. Raspberries turned out to be mush basically. They did replace the bread with bread that expired the next day, I am so disappointed with this service as I was truly excited. It also forced us to eat our fruit and veggies since I didn't want to waste anything I had purchased. I only had a problem with the quality once and I was credited for that item. I've waited a bit to review Green Bean Delivery--we've been subscribers for the last 2 years, so it's about time! I signed up when my little one was about 6 months old--back to work, heading into autumn and without a great deal of time on my hands, home delivery seemed like a perfect solution. My sil in Indy had used this service for several years, and raved about it. Sure, you have to maintain your bin--which may take me about 20 minutes each week (I have standard weekly purchases, but there's always something new to look at!) and to me, that's the fun part! Each week there are specials, each week they introduce new artisan made cheeses, breads, etc, so checking in on the website is a treat. And for someone who works full-time, a hectic family life, and cooks constantly, being able to organize my bin for menu's the entire week is REALLY helpful--having it delivered to my doorstep is even better! If you don't like a product in your bin...say radishes...you can swap them out for something you prefer without change fees or any issue. Here's the thing--Green Bean operates like a grocery on wheels. Sure, local foods do often pop up, but you must remember that local foods will be SEASONAL. For most of us (save me) who have shopped big box retailers our whole lives, getting a big ole' box of lettuces, mustard greens, kale, spinach, mushrooms and possibly, just possibly asparagus if the weather was good that season, wouldn't be all that amazing each week through Spring. So, yeah, some things are going to be grown in other parts of the US. Our region doesn't support much in the spring, but summer seasons, yes. The thing about this is, if locality is important to you, then you can DESIGN your bin to suit, Being in the "tristate" area has it's advantages when it comes to choice through G.B.D. While my sil in Indy gets largely Indiana producers, we get Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky farm made and artisan made foods. Again, from places I would never know existed, or that shipping to me or driving to them would be cost prohibitive. On any given week, my bin consists of meats/poultry and eggs from the farms that I would NEVER know about, and that means I'm helping a local business. Cheeses, all my milk (in glass bottles with the cream on top), breads, butter (Hartzler Farm butter, you rock!), local made "Grateful Grahams" and countless other things that strike my fancy--Green Bean Delivery combined with the CSA that I belong to in Verona, Kentucky, beginning May through October helps me focus on what's important to me: giving my family quality, organic, locally grown/produced artisan foods that are organic, humane and unique. I wanted to like them, but it is just expensive and not worth the money and hassle. I ordered some peaches for twice what they would have been at Kroger. I was looking forward to nice juicy, tasty peaches. What I received were about the size of apricots without flavor and rock hard. That is my experience with all the fruit I have received from these guys. They do a bit better with the green produce, but they are still way more expensive than the grocery store (eg $4.95 for one lb of blueberries) They send an email with a selection of the items they have added to your bin. You are expected to change the preset items, but don't have to. I forgot to modify mine and there was only $28 worth preselected. They charged me $7 to deliver it because I didn't have $35 in there. They also failed to return my milk bottle deposit ($1.50). I decided this was way too much hassle for no real value and cancelled. read more

I LOVE this service. I get high quality local and organic produce, and I don't have to deal with the grocery store to get it! WOOT! We get plenty of fruit to snack on, and a variety of vegetables. The small produce bin just a little too large for our family of 3, so I can share with friends. They have always been happy to credit my account if I have produce I am not happy with (moldy, bruised, etc..) Damaged produce is a rarity, though. We eat a much better variety of veggies this way. This is barely okay. I've been getting it for about 4-6 weeks. For me, it's nice because I don't eat a variety of vegetables otherwise. I just take what they bring and eat that, or it'll be all kale and spinach for me. WELL, kale and spinach are healthy, but you need to eat a variety of vegetables. I think this service expensive for what you get, though. Also, I often get non-organic produce. That really makes me angry because I want to eat organic produce. Now I pay $35 for a small bin of produce and it's chemical produce? Forget that. I'm going to cancel. I would say don't bother with this and just go to Findlay market or something. Green B.E.A.N. is a fantastic hybrid of a CSA and a traditional grocery delivery service. I get the $35 produce and grocery bin every other week, and as another reviewer said, it feels like Christmas on delivery day, with me constantly peeking out my window to see if my big green box has arrived yet. The quality of the produce is fantastic, always highlighting local, sustainable, and/or organic produce as the seasons permit. The grocery part is probably my favorite, though -- I can get farm-fresh eggs and cream-topped, grassfed, glass-bottled milk delivered to my door. You can't beat that! Green B.E.A.N.'s service can't be beat either. I recently had a problem with an order and I got personal phone calls and emails correcting the issue. If you're ever short on money or going on vacation, it's no problem to suspend or cancel the service. You're not locked in to any time commitment except for the fact that your heart and stomach will want that big green bin every week without fail. I like the idea of Green Bean Delivery, but I noticed in many of my orders that the produce is not all local. I understand some things are not produced locally but it seems easier and more affordable to get the same products at my local grocery store or at a farmers market if they are coming from the same area. I do like the selection of dairy and meats as they are all regional. The produce selection is very good, but I found that I missed having certain things that were not always available through Green Bean. I would end up spending twice as much because I would be going to the store to buy the items I couldn't get. I just didn't see that I was saving money using Green Bean, but I'm not sorry I tried it out. It may work out great for some, but I do better shopping at a farmers market. read more

I called the other morning to set everything up, since the website was confusing. I didn't like the woman with whom I talked: abrupt, not friendly, not that helpful. My message: Don't give up! I emailed customer service and Emily answered, who was awesome, said I could call her, and activated my account. I called her later and she was terrific. Told me (this is June 28, 2014) that the website will be made much more user-friendly in a couple weeks. I will definitely be posting updates, after I receive my first order. Though it was weird they had no zucchini or even asparagus or bell peppers in any color but green. I gave three stars because of the woman with whom I initially talked to and because the website is kind of tedious. I didn't like anything in the bin and customized my whole bin, one item at a time, which takes a l o o o o ng time! read more

Attention Columbus foodies: Green B.E.A.N. delivery service is something you should be looking into if you love fresh, tasty produce delivered to your door year round. My partner and I recently signed up for this service after finding an introductory Groupon and we couldn't be more pleased with our deliveries thus far. We receive the standard $35 fruit and veggie bin (which we've elected to receive every two weeks but you can get it every week if you're a true herbivore) and have been very pleased with both deliveries so far. The B.E.A.N.' s website, which allows you to preview and switch out your order as little as two days in advance of your delivery, makes it easy to see what you'll be receiving each time and make adjustments as needed for variety and dietary preferences. We've seen a lot of standards such as bibb lettuce, carrots, avocados and grapefruit but we've also gotten kiwi, mineola tangelos, leeks and cabbage, things that my lady and I wouldn't be likely to pick out on our own at the local grocery. That's encouraged a healthier and more inventive way of cooking for us than in the past. ALL of the produce has been top notch and nothing has come to us wilted looking or half spoiled, as I somewhat expected at the beginning. The satisfaction in knowing we are supporting local and organic, sustainable agriculture is the best part of the entire process. I have been using Green Bean Delivery for about 6 mos now, and am very happy. The customer service agents I've spoken with have all be FANTASTIC, and very accommodating. (A few weeks into the service, I forgot to leave my bin out for pickup. No charges, no hassle, simply a pickup the following delivery, without making me feel like a bin-swiping criminal.) I've not had a problem with any damaged or moldy food, and like that if I don't have time to get on and check the bin, at least I know I will be getting fresh veggies and fruit automatically. That being said, the ability to jump online and swap things in and out of the bin makes the service that much better. I love how the website lists whether the items are conventional, organic, or sustainably grown, and (clearly) whether or not they are local. Additionally, I like how well everything is packed; whether I am able to rush right home from work, or I get stuck, I know my food is packaged in such a way that will keep everything cool and protected. Highly recommend this service for anyone in the delivery area- I have been nothing but happy with my experience! read more
