Everything they teach is designed to get you back to your life as soon as possible: they even have a fake car to practice getting in and out of! Several people stand out: nurses Lydia, Vivian and Abu, each of whom made me feel my health was important to them; OT Rachel B, who is an amazing person with all sorts of tricks to make living independently with a broken hip possible;; Mary C, PT, who was contstantly enthusiastic and supportive; Dr. Dain and Dr. Brown, who visited daily to check vital signs and ask how I was doing. The food was not exciting, but it was well-prepared and you could chose your own meals. Quite frankly, I was surprised by what a positive experience it was to be at Fairlawn. I was there 11 days. Highly recommend!

If you are into a facility that criminally neglects your loved one, this is the place for you. My…read morefather in law has been at this facility for the past 5 months after having a difficult surgery and Blackstone valley rehab has undoubtedly been the worst part of the experience. During his time there, they have fed him a steady diet of hotdogs and canned foods and vegetables. He often doesn't get a drink with this, and when he does, it's some sugary beverage. This isn't a suitable diet for a healthy person, never mind an 88 year old man with diabetes and a history of heart issues. When we brought this up to the nurse and the administrators, they claimed ignorance. Yet, even after agreeing to cater his diet going forward to accommodate his medical needs, they continue to give him the same diet. He is often left to sit in soiled undergarments for hours as staff forgets to clean him. On one occasion, we noticed that he abruptly experienced swelling and pain in his leg, which he told us occurred when he fell. We brought the incident up to his main nurse, Loeuis, who responded by admonishing us for questioning their care. She curtly replied that the matter was never reported and therefore never occurred. Although we implored her to inquire with the staff, she refused and advised that she trusted all her staff implicitly so such a thing was impossible. She went further and suggested that my father in law was confused and possibly had dementia, however he has recounted the same experience repeatedly with no variation and has never displayed any signs of confusion or dementia. While at blackstone rehab, there have been nights were only a single nurse has been on for the entire facility, there have been days were his medication was forgotten, his clothes have gone missing, etc etc. For sake of brevity I'll limit the multitude of negative experiences suffered at this health care facility. Unfortunately, our experience here is not unique. We've since made friends who have loved one's staying at blackstone rehab and their experience is similar. For a facility that charges 15k a month, works with a limited staff, offers limited services, and clearly spends little to no money on patients food, you have to wonder where it's all going.

They not only went above and beyond with my dad's care and treatment, but they are truly compassionate people. They connect with their patients as well as us family members. Rob and Olivia always had a positive attitude, and great work ethic. They should be recognize, acknowledge, and rewarded for their job well done! This industry needs more people like them. I want to Thank them for treating my dad like family.

Yes Five Stars. Not given lightly. My father first used this company because of a friend's…read morerecommendation a year ago. He had just had a pace-maker installed and needed help at home. Complete Private Home Care sent out various people to handle everything we needed, carefully following his Primary Care Physician's list. This included an initial consult with Sue and then Danielle the nurse in charge of all the other aides and therapists. I know their names because I had to use them again after my father ended up in the hospital again this time with pneumonia. I didn't have much experience with home health workers when I hired Complete Home Health. However because of my age (mid 50s) I have had too much experience with my friend's parent's aides and assisted living situations. Also I had to oversee aides in Texas for my grandparents. So while I had not personally hired but one aide before (freelance--without an agency--also a friend's recommendation) I do feel able to award those five stars. What sets them apart? First they are very professional. I think perhaps because they are a smaller company, they are on top of each of their clients. They always knew who I was, and who my dad was and which workers were involved in his care. The co-ordinator Jon has a handle on all the clients. Next, the Administrative nurse has a great list of caregivers she can call upon. My father had problems swallowing and was prone to inhalation pneumonia, the therapists helped him learn strategies for eating. Physical therapists taught him to get him up walking again, home assessors came for safety. Further, they took a huge load from my shoulders by communicating with my father's Primary Care Physician at Harvard, so I did not need to still be in charge of all that on top of all the rest I was in charge of. Finally, all the people were loving and I never worried someone would steal from us or hurt my dad. They demonstrated far more patience than frankly, I had left in me. They suggested intelligent solutions to home problems such as different pill containers, cutting back shrubs for ease on stairs, removing certain roll around chairs, etc. They responded Immediately, and were able to be at the house within 4 hours of suddenly learning he was being released from rehab. When I was forced to hire them for out of pocket 24 hour care, they were able to make this far more affordable by charging for blocks of hours. Because we had installed 2 Drop-cams we could see that the 24 hour aides were never more than 20 feet away. This is a fabulous company. Hire them and feel safe. If you are like me, you need it.

I am a rather complex patient, they have the knowledge, skill and equipment to be able to offer me the most competent well round physical therapy experience. The staff is highly trained and knowledgeable. They have an AlterG treadmill, which helps those with lower limb injuries. I'm my opinion this is the best invention for physical therapy ever! They also help you post your physical therapy with a MOC fitness center. Which offers medically supervised fitness training. A full gym, spin classes, Barre, weight lifting, sport specific training, and Kenitix. All under a well trained certified staff. Some other services * Dry Needling * Massage Therapy *STEM * Graston * Laser Lite Therapy * Release Neuromuscular Stimulation * TENS This list I'm sure is longer. But if you are looking for a place the has everything in a friendly package, you found it.

In my experience, they were quick to mark appointments as missed or "no show" even when there were scheduling issues on their side. Those missed visits were then billed to workers' comp and later used to label me as "noncompliant," which can jeopardize your case. It felt like the documentation sent to the insurance company did not fairly reflect what actually happened with my appointments. Instead of working with me to keep treatment on track, it felt like they used the system against me. I want to be clear: my complaint is about the way management and administration handle workers' comp cases, not the individual physical therapists themselves. But because of how my workers' comp claim was handled, I would not recommend this Worcester, MA location to anyone dealing with a work-related injury.
