This one does have 2 levels, and you can take the lift (elevator) or the escaltors escalators. The escalator going down wasn't working the times I've been, but just walk down anyway. They have cashiers for check out as well as self check-out lanes. Prices here are awesome! I'm a huge fan of their bakery bread and the snacks. Their sparkling water game is pretty strong, too. Don't be shocked if I check in here again, lol!

The Liverpool One branch of Superstore is not actually the most super I have come across in Liverpool as there is one in Litherland which is gargantuan in comparison. However, Liverpool One Tesco is certainly what the town needs. You still have plenty of choice here, a variety of sections such as deli, clothes and international foods to keep you adding more to your basket! I find this place more of a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience as opposed to the Metro version by the big screen, because its more spacious and offers an abundance of products. The location isn't great if you're driving there as it'll cost you pounds to park somewhere nearby but certainly convenient when you have other chores to do around town.

It is fabulous, it is a shame that the other reviewer got nothing more from the experience than a packet of out of date biscuits, which although wrong if true is surprising based on what the place is like and the astounding range of foods in there. No good for Chinese or Thai ingredients but that is already well catered for here... really recommend, excellent butcher and with fresh bread being baked and sold in there it really is worth a look

It is a small store, so the selection is limited, for a store of its' size, the product range is OK, they do also have a Costa Coffee machine here, which is again useful if you're in a rush and don't have enough time to go to one of the many coffee-shops nearby. The store could have been cleaner and free of obstruction, the warehouse cages left in the middle of the store, made already narrow aisles much worse. 3* - Decent location if you're in a hurry, much better options nearby if you have time on your hands.

They're everywhere. Come to Heswall and you have the choice of three supermarkets. You have Aldi, the cheaper option with hundreds of bargains, Iceland, another cheaper option to stock up the freezer. Then you have Tesco, the biggest of the three, and the one that seems to have everything! They have all the regular stuff a large Tesco would have, but have recently adopted an in store mobile phone shop and their Costa coffee shop has been replaced with a cheaper, family orientated coffee shop. This coffee shop still sells Costa branded coffee but offers cheaper alternatives and good honest full breakfasts and sandwiches. This supermarket has the best parking out of all three, and has great location for bus routes back to Liverpool and Birkenhead, and it's popular with old dears so don't expect to be able to walk faster than 0.5 MPH.

This Spar definitely has the most futuristic look about it with its glossy, glass-panelled and chrome finish on the exterior. I don't often shop at Spar because prices are generally expensive compared to competitive stores and of course it isn't really the place you'd go to do your weekly shopping; it's more of an emergency shop for locals and business folks nearby. Spar is located in a prime location for office workers in the area and has ideal products for people on-the-go. This makes it a great place to grab a quick lunch and newspaper or magazine. Let's say that this is your super mini-mart!

You would be in trouble if you're not able to control yourself with impulse buying. They offer the convenience of Scan, Shop & Pay, so you can scan items and pay for them as you shop. You'd need to check out one of the scanners in the front of the store, and probably download the app on your phone. Another feature offered here is the Click + Collect option (think Target Drive-Up). The store and car park are very well kept up. They are well lit and clean. I didn't see any shopping carts stranded in anywhere. The employees are friendly and helpful. You can bring in your own reusable bags, or purchase theirs at 30p ($.38) each. I highly recommend coming here for all of your grocery and miscellaneous needs. More peaceful, more for your money, more German, Aldi (short for Albrecht Discount in case you were wondering) is a place where you can fill your Volkswagen boot with delicious yet unfamiliar brands and still get change from a Deutschmark. The store has actually benefited from more shoppers and the discounts appear better than ever. It has just been extended in the last couple of months. It isn't actually going to give any real competition to Asda in relation to choice, but there is some really cheap products for sale. Easy parking too!
