Food store very good, they should stick to what they know
The main bad points was
First order wasn't confirmed
Second date it wasn't passed on to the delivery
Third day promised it arrived very dented in three places on top at front and scratch down one side.
Delivery men were very pushy, and insisted that I would get a discount for a damaged item. When I refused, the one used the tactic of I would accept it making me feel uncomfortable, they tried to get me to sign the document, telling me that I must sign it, I continued to refuse several times, if I had signed then the small print did say, if you sign you are saying that the product is acceptable. Another person who is not very assertive would have been put under a lot of pressure if this is the way everyone is treated.

Customer service really bad after ordering a washing machine from Sainsbury's
- One day never arrived and changed date of order at last minute
- Second day off work following week, when I phoned told that who ever put delivery through to us by email didn't pass on to the delivery section
- Third day (last Saturday) up at 6:30 for delivery at 7am.
- Delivery guys dropped it in the kitchen, literally, and insisted on signature, I declined and was put under pressure to sign, I refused, after looking at the machine, the front top had three large scratches down to the metal, and another scratch onthe front side, all scratches would be visible when in situ. The delivery men asked me to accept a discount to keep it, I refused. When I phoned up the centre, they told me that they could deliver another one in another two weeks, being as it had taken two weeks already to get the delivery, my washing had piled up considerably. I have totally lost conifidence in Sainsbury electrical, and they have failed to meet the basic expectations by a reputable company to give basic customer care. I will never recommend them in future, therefore the opportunity for Sainsbury to show how good they can be has been lost, and along with it my own customer loyalty and the loyalty of others who I have not recommended them to read more
