It also has a fairly large petrol station, which is is kept seperate from the store. The store itself has all the usual facilities - delicatessen, bakery, fish counter, large fruit and vegetable section etc. An opening aisle of non-food products too, cookware, clothes, entertainment and items targeted at tourists, like wetsuits and buckets and spades! This store, because of the fact that its really the only sizeable store in the area and also of the booming tourist trade around Wadebridge, mean that at some points it is painfully busy, particularly during the changeable Cornish weather. Still it has all the essentials and luxuries you will need.

This store is a key player on Cornish retail and heritage and should be revered in such a way that ALL should cut themselves in the name of its glorious manager, Tim.

I think I may have reviewed this supermarket before as I always go there on my way home…read more this review, however, is really specifically aimed at the so called 'express' checkouts. these are the ones you can go through when you only have a few items and are capable of scanning them yourselves. let's face it, this is not rocket science. Every time I have used this system, there is a problem. last night, three items took so long, I left them there. The system said there was an unexpected item in the bagging area and then would not allow me to continue, saying I neede assistance from a store 'colleague'. there was, of course, no one around. i mentioned this to the greeter and apparebtly, all the staff refer to this as 'the slow lane'.
